Before the new year, I wanted to take my wife out for a nice dinner. McGill’s wasn’t at the top of my list, but I was unable to get reservations elsewhere for the evening, and McGill’s was able to accommodate us. We arrived roughly 15 minutes early to check in for our 7:30 reservation. Unfortunately, their tablet was down, so they were doing everything old-school by writing everything down. We found out we weren’t on the reservation list, but they saw my name and reservation time written on another sheet, so we were still good to go.

First time here. Service Excellent. French Onion Soup amazing. Pecan Crusted Trout AWFUL….you do not bread trout with flour and pecans…. excessive FLOUR, no salt, no seasoning….bland and pasty. Orange Roughy….same….chicken Piccata….same… Rosemary potatoes…. not Rosemary….

We decided to try McGill’s for our anniversary. The lighting was fairly dim which is nice but the menu lettering was small, fine print making it difficult to read. We started out with the stuffed mushrooms which were delicious the I ordered the shrimp and it was very thin and overcooked. I usually don’t use a sauce to eat shrimp but I did there and my rice was overcooked as well. My wife ordered a steak with a baked potato, the steak was cooked well but it was very bland. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but I don’t think that we will be back.

My husband and I had the best romantic dinner here! There cocktails were perfect and atmosphere was relaxed. Perfect for a couples getaway. And the food was so tender and some of the best french onion soup

First time here and we loved it. We were seated in a comfortable booth with low lighting which we liked. Atmosphere was great as was the food.

I was not disappointed with my salmon, my husband said his steak was so tender he could drink it through a straw. Great meal would recommend for any special occasion.

Definitely would rate this if it was a zero food was good but the server put his hands on me twice even when I pulled away. Celebrating my 3 year anniversary the server kept wanting us to separate when we was waiting for our food. Very weird and odd behavior. Definitely won’t be back

Very good place for a great lunch. The filet was large for lunch time and cooked rare as requested. Wife remarked on her crab cakes for being as far from the ocean as we could get was excellent.

When spending $200.00 on a dinner (for 2), one would expect the food to be top-notch, which it wasn’t, that atmosphere to be welcoming, which it wasn’t, with the service being engaging, which it wasn’t.
