A Muncie Experience
Great, fast and friendly service in downtown Detroit. Just a few blocks from Ford Field and Comerica Park NFL and MLB stadiums. Staff members were helpful and knowledgeable. Food was made hot and fresh. Quick preparation and everything we ordered was was correct and the exact way we wanted it. Everything was great! Clean restaurant and restrooms. Plenty of parking and seating along with an outdoor patio area, weather permitting. Highly recommend this McDonald’s if you’re in the Woodward, Midtown, Brush Park areas of Detroit!

EDIT (6/21/2023): I pick and choose my battles. This $1.50 battle wasn’t worth it. Instead, I have decided to shop at Meijer and other grocery stores, prepare my own meals at home, and I refuse to visit this location again with the exception of needing to visit here in order to not starve to death.

I use the app to play my order like I have done so many times before unfortunately it did not inform me that this location was not serving shakes so they tried to give me a soft drink for the same price as a shake that does not work but I was able to get a refund on the shake. But they did not give me anything due to the fact that I had to wait and my food was then cold when I got it.

Usually better than other locations and that’s why I go out my way to go to this one but sometimes when I come after nine they tell me they’re closed. I was told by a manager that they don’t close till 10 but at 9:40 they are telling me that they are closed. They took the car directly in front of me and serve them. No problem, but as soon as the car pulled forward, I tried to order and no one would take my order. Once I honked at them they told me that closed early but server the car in front of me.

Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Only reason I go back is location/convenience, and maybe a sliver of hope that they’ve restaffed. Without fail my order is either wrong, the staff is downright rude, or if I’m lucky, both!

I ordered a large fish filet and large double fish filet meal through the drive thru. It did take quite some time to order and also wait. When we got our food, the lady was nice and gave us ketchup which is rare for me. She also notified me which one was the double fish filet, thought that was nice.

Took 21 minutes to bring out my carside order. Ordered 2 Sausage McMuffins and an unsweetened tea; sausage was somehow burnt and got sweet tea. Went in to get my order, and they couldn’t find one. I look outside, and someone is standing by my car with it. I’ve lived downtown for over 8 years now and can honestly say that this McDonalds has never given anyone I know satisfying service. No one. Please kick that franchise owner out and replace him with one who has some understanding of business and service, please. Thank you.

Sorry to disturb. I recently came here by myself because I had the munchies (silly me ) and needed a feast for my tiny little body. However, I was grabbed by the waist by a worker named Bartholomew. By the looks of him, he was a down syndrome and had a greasy flaky scalp. He then started rubbing himself against me shoving a Grimace Shake down my throat. Not the best experience. The wait was long but expected because it was lunch time. I asked for my food to be cook to order and I asked for a small shake and she told me it only comes in med n large. So I asked for a med n she said she couldn’t find the tab on the register. So I got a large instead when I got my food at the window, I asked for some ketchup for my fries. She told me they were out so I asked for barbeque sauce. She told me that it will cost extra why should I have to pay when they ran out ketchup for my first I’m forced to pay for a large shake because she wasn’t properly trained to take orders n finally I have to pay more cuz they ran out of ketchup. Help me make sense of this? Please.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a worse McDonald’s. This should not be open. I don’t even want to write out why because it was just everything. Food cold, took 30+ min. Staff condescending AF. All the receipts empty in the self ordering machines, and the staff had the gall to reprimand customers for not knowing their number from the receipt. And then they STILL didn’t refill.
