Fabulous Michelin-starred restaurant in Woodside. We were there celebrating our anniversary and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The 3-course menu was filled with tasty options, including some specials. The wine by the glass list is well curated and the service is top notch. In the end, we were given a beautiful (and delicious) anniversary treat and our waiter was thoughtful and treated my wife with the 2 desert choices she had a hard time choosing from, we had a sweet tooth feast!

Took mom here for her birthday for the prix fixe menu for some French/Californian bites. The service was excellent – very attentive, friendly but not overbearing. Compliments from the chef were much appreciated. The kampachi was fresh, though you might not love it if you can’t deal with fishy fish. Duck breast was flavorful – the pistachio crust was the saving grace to the slightly over charred skin. Great jus and the figs complemented the meat well. I preferred the game hen – very tender & juicy. The eggplant on the side was a bit too salty – sat marinated for too long and the pickled bits on top exacerbated the saltiness. The desserts were the ABSOLUTE showstoppers of the night – very well curated cakes, souffle was so rich and dense. Portions were plenty for upscale dining, maybe even a bit too generous! Great for an intimate dinner or special occasion.

Full transparency: I gave this restaurant 3 stars, but it’s still an above average restaurant for French-California fusion cuisine; the food, the service & the ambiance are okay. Then again: it’s just okay, nothing special, nothing stands out; which is much below my expectation for a Michelin star restaurant. And therefore, much overpriced.

We love this restaurant. They have a wonder pasta dish with shaved truffle. It’s normally not in the menus, but you can request the dish to replace your first course or you can order a là carte and split and share. The service is top notch! Jim, our somm was AMAZING and was there to keep my glass filled even before I could think to ask. Jose our server was also phenomenal and made wonderful recommendations for our dinner. I had the Wagyu cooked med-rare to perfection and my husband had the duck breast..perfect and juicy! They have a very extensive wine list and we sat out on the patio which was lovely. Throughout dinner we were checked on to ensure we were getting good service snd there was no issue with the food. Come for wonderful food snd excellent service! We will come back again and again!!! One more item, they also have a wonderful soufflé as part of their fixed price menu!

Had a great time pretending to be classy with some real classy folk. The best dish we had was the duck breast, followed by the white asparagus/egg/caviar supplement, and chestnut soup. The halibut was made and presented very well, though I’d like to give something else a shot at wowing me next time.
