The good was on point and everything we ate was delightful. Mac and cheese was excellent – we ordered it to share as an appetizer and it was so hard to stop eating it to save space for dinner. I got two small plates which was a perfect entree size for me and my wife got the salmon. All were cooked to perfection. Cocktails were great too! I got the “it’s pronounced apri-cot” and the first (that my wife stole half of) and second had different flavors from one another which was curious. Ambiance could use a bit of sprucing up. A lot of reviews said it’s loud, probably because there is limited decor on the stone/concrete walls to absorb the sound. Paper table coverings seem a bit odd for an upscale restaurant during dinner service.

I ate here for lunch meeting. They have a pretty big menu and lots of lunch specials. There was eight of us and when the food was brought out everybody was silent. I can only assume that means everyone enjoyed their meal. I got the soup and salad combo and the soup may have been the soup I’ve ever had in my entire life. Salad was very good but I wish I had more dressing. I love the dressing. It’s a cute little place that you really wouldn’t notice was there unless you know was there. Definitely worth the stop

I have gone a few times for dinner and one time for a holiday party. Food is always good. But the dessert. Let me tell you! I would sell my own brother for their desserts. My boyfriend and I have made it a routine to go their for dessert dates.

Desserts are always amazing! Only suggestion is to allow an omission of one item from a meal (scallops) due to allergy because that left a bad taste in my mouth. Quality of food was good but I feel like for the price of each entree it should be no problem accommodating. Especially when a large party rented a room out and the amount of money made for the restaurant is well worth going above and beyond.

We had an amazing experience here. The food was delicious – the smoked duck on the risotto is some of the best duck I’ve ever had, the crab cake was mostly crab (very little filler), and the escargot was extremely flavorful. The service was awesome – very attentive server/bartender and manager. I highly recommend this place and will make a point to return any time I am in Tallahassee.

We had a great experience at FGF. Dee took excellent care of us. We had small plates and desserts for the table. Our favorites were the fried shrimp, the eggplant and the stir fry. The cinnamon cheesecake was divine as well as the brownie cheesecake!

I usually love eating here, but this morning there were just endless mistakes. First I requested 6 shrimp with the shrimp and grits instead of 4. The first time I ever had shrimp and grits there were 6, and the second time they skimped and did 4. So, I requested the 6. My plate came out and I had four. The waitress asked if I wanted a dessert menu, and I requested carrot cake. I was told they were out. However, when I received my check I was charged for the carrot cake. I really should’ve asked to have this meal compensated.

Absolutely delicious. We had the Mackin’ Cheese and the Seared Tuna. Both were beautifully plated and so very tasty! Specialty cocktails prepared by our friendly bartender Jamie made for a lovely start to our meal, with the Butter Coffee crunch dessert to finish. Highly recommended for a special occasion, the end of a long day or just to please your palate . We will be back soon!
