So, it’s my first visit to this chain in years – things have changed greatly. It’s no longer the nice restaurant in my memory; mostly a pickup location. Not I; as I am traveling though this area and intend to eat-in restaurant my personal sized pizza.

So everything tasted good. Pizza could have been cooked a little bit longer. I walked in to pick up my pizza because there is no drive thru. But the workers were friendly enough. A little disorganized but a decent experience.

Honestly, this Pizza Hut was sometimes a crapshoot as to whether they were going to be good or not. The last time I went it was amazing and the manager that was working was keeping everything moving and looking great. The time before that it was less than stellar, so maybe she wasn’t there that day. Overall I’m happy enough with them to keep going back and giving them a try.

This is only the second time I’ve been to this Pizza Hut, and both times were bad experiences. Last time I ordered through grubhub and they canceled my order, claiming they got it twice and would deliver through DoorDash. Delivery never came even after they insisted it would, and I had to go pick my order up. Then I had to wait even longer once I got there for them to remake it. Tonight I called in my order as a curbside pickup, paying cash (the man asked cash or card). No one on the phone told me how to check in when I got there, so I called. A girl with an attitude told me I was supposed to check in online. I said I didn’t know and she said they would bring it right out for me. That was at 9:06pm. By 9:33 no one had come out, so I called again. I was put on hold for 6 minutes with no one picking up. Mind you, the parking lot was empty and I could see employees inside, cleaning. One employee kept walking by the window and looking at my car but did nothing. I hung up from being on hold and called back, told them I was still waiting, and the woman hung up on me. I was giving them a couple more minutes before I went inside when the girl called me back and said the order wasn’t paid for and I’d have to go inside anyway. Of course the order wasn’t yet paid for – I said curbside, cash, when the order was placed. Why this girl couldn’t bother to tell me this when I first called instead of making me wait another half hour is absolutely beyond me. The man who took my order could have told me as well. These employees don’t give af and have constant attitudes. To top it off, I ordered one Buffalo chicken pizza melt with no onions and they gave me chicken and cheese with no Buffalo sauce. I won’t be back.

Pizza could have been baked a little longer. I don’t believe I received the correct crust I ordered. I had to order online; the phone number listed for the website did not connect. Overall, the pizza was okay.

One of the worst organized places. Two weeks ago I ordered online, was told about a 15 minute wait. I arrived about 20 minutes after I placed the order and ended up waiting over an hour for an order that was ready the entire time. They were just too lazy or unaware to look in the warming oven. Then tonight the same thing happened again. I was told 15-20 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes after the order was placed and was told it wasn’t ready. I waited for about 5-10 minutes and then looked into the warming oven and saw an order that looked like it could be mine. I asked another server to check it for me and it turned out to be mine. To top it all off, I got home and half of my order was wrong. This place is a joke

Certainly not the experience one would have had back in the day. Gone is the salad bar, replaced by pizza boxes. Bread sticks aren’t cut anymore, everyone has to grab the whole loaf and pull off for yourself (hope everyone washed their hands), and the bread sticks came after all three pizzas had been left at the table, so instead of an appetizer, it was more like an afterthought. Service was friendly but I miss the pizza hut of old.

my main issue was they were not wearing gloves and went right from handling filthy money to handling my pizza so unfortunately I cannot recommend Darlington Pizza Hut.
