Thanh Tinh chay is great new restaurant located in San Diego city. Our restaurant has a completely vegan menu. There is nothing like us in the area, the closest vegan restaurant is in San Diego. Our restaurant uses healthy food and fresh food. We have five stars on yelp, the customer can easy ordering us from Grubhub, Uber eat , Postmates. For our personal team , we expect every employee to be skilled in all of the elements when dealing with a customer. They will all be trained in how to prepare all the meals and drinks that we offer, and also how to use register. We are pleased to welcome everyone to come and try out Vietnamese traditional dishes!

My boyfriend and I were recently in San Diego and found this place. I’m so glad I did. (It’s funny bc a week ago we had a conversation about how much I wanted that “wow I would drive 20+ hours for this” vegan food.) This is a restaurant I would drive 20+ hours for 🙂 the waitress and other workers had the kindest service I’ve ever had. I hope everyone, even if they’re not vegan has an opportunity to try this food bc it really was that great.

BEST RESTAURANT EVER. I’m vegan and my girlfriend is gluten free celiac, and this place was PERFECT for the two of us and is a hidden gem for celiacs. The website doesn’t explicitly say it, but the entire restaurant is gluten free – but non gluten free folks, don’t worry! Genuinely you will NOT be able to tell. Bread on the Banh Mi was the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had and tasted just like real bread. I’ve been vegan for 6 years now and had crispy tempura shrimp that my girlfriend said tasted just like the real thing! (And it’s made from scratch in house!). We also shared the pork belly Banh Mi which was DELICIOUS meat and the bread was so fluffy and crispy on the outside. Then we had the soft duck bao bun which was great in texture just like the real thing and loaded with a peanut sauce. Lastly we had the eggless stir fry noodles with teriyaki sesame chicken which was sooo good and allowed my girlfriend to have a lo mein style dish for the first time in years! To top it off, our waitress was so sweet and funny and gave us free desserts to end the meal. The cheesecake tasted just like the real thing and was so creamy, and the Flan was so delicious and the first time I’ve had flan since going vegan, which this Mexican reviewer has missed so much! Crime Brûlée was also delicious. Needless to say, Thanh Tinh Chay was the most delicious restaurant I’ve been to, and you would never guess that it meets everyone’s dietary needs. Oh, and the spa water they give you is so fresh and addicting! We’ll be driving back to San Diego from LA just for this spot again.

Meat eaters would enjoy this place too! just had a delicious meal here at lunchtime on a Monday. Treng was very nice and knowledgeable about all the ingredients in the food! I had the Thanh toan and thap cam and the Helen buns. Everything was good, especially the Thanh toan which had vegan version of bi heo, which tasted just like the real thing! And the vegan thit nuong was perfectly crispy. This food will fill you up feeling clean and fresh oh yeah good desserts and flan also!

I’m not vegan but I really enjoyed this place. The food was incredible and the service was very attentive. We got the crispy pork + bbq pork Bahn mi, and the duck dumpling soup, highly recommend both! We got to sample some of their deserts, which were delicious and we really enjoyed.

Helen the owner is amazing. Starting with the water (read about this) through the spring rolls, the stir fry, the noodles, the fried rice to the dessert soup (good for sleep, good for the skin) as well as the most amazing I can’t believe it’s not cheesecake cheesecake. I have tried many vegan options and they really don’t come close to real cheesecake. However, Helen’s cheesecake is exactly like the best cheesecake! Truly unbelievable. If you have never been able to eat real cheesecake before, know that this is just what it tastes like.

Absolutely incredible authentic Vietnamese establishment with a fully plant-based menu right in the heart of Little Saigon. Everything tasted just like how I remember the non-vegan versions to be before I became vegan. The ingredients were all so fresh and flavorful. All of their mock meats are made in-house too. Very impressive!! The service was also top-notch. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff right as we walked through the door. They were attentive and truly went above and beyond for all of their customers and even served complimentary sweet treats after our dinner. The owner is SO sweet and welcoming and took the time to ensure everyone was enjoying their meals.

First of all, the water here is amazing! It’s infused with lychee and a certain type of apple. It’s delicious and free. Everything my friend and I ordered was great—banh mi, udon soup, lemongrass tofu. It was all very fresh and clean tasting. I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and they also gave us numerous desserts to try. Certainly recommend (for vegans and omnivores alike)!
