This Fuji place was great. The filet tasted better than the Texas Roadhouse steak we had the night prior. The chicken was juicy. The food was flavorful. The cook and staff were attentive and funny. Definitely recommend.

Terrible experience last night for Mother’s Day dinner. We initially made a reservation for 5 at 7pm, changed it to 6pm, had the confirmation, but they didn’t have the reservation for 6. It didn’t delay us, but it was the start of the bad experiences. My daughter in law has a gluten allergy, she has been with us numerous times before, this was at least the 5th time we’ve been there with a large group. She told them about her allergies and ordered. We had eaten, they had cleaned the griddle and still no food for her. We kept getting the it’s almost ready. She didn’t get her food until 1:40 min after we ordered. They staff apologized and gave us a 10% discount, that was insulting. Our bill was over $200, insult to that, my daughters scallops were overcooked and rubbery, same with our lobster. The chef was very boring and not engaging which is part of the experience. Terrible experience all around and we will never go back.

Our family had reservations for Mother’s Day dinner. Upon checking in the manager manager handed me a pager stating “ we are running behind”. No welcome , hello, or apology for inconvenience. After 40 minutes past our scheduled time I checked with hostess and was told you’re next. Well apparently not next because two other parties were seated in the next 15 minutes. After an hour past our reservation we still had no update so I walked the dining room floor. Over 2/3 of the tables had empty plates with no cook in sight. I saw the manager once when I checked in and never saw her again. Horrible management and scheduling. If it’s a staffing issue you’d think they would adjust the number of tables they sat but all tables were full and no staff anywhere in sight. Couldn’t be more disappointed and will never return.

Getting a chef took awhile, I was starting to think that they only had one in the building. We finally got a chef after 45 minutes of waiting. Not really complaining about that because we kept ourselves entertained. The food was good. As we were eating the grill cleaner came and started to clean our grill. A heavy amount of smoke was blown in our faces, to the point other patrons at the table across from us was pointing and talking about it. My 13 yo daughter got the worse of it. I pointed it out to the man and asked him to wait until we leave like they did with the other tables. He responded, “I have to clean the grill.” I said that I would take the ride to Benihana’s before I eat here again and I would like to speak to a manager. He then stopped and said he would finish cleaning it later and left. I told our server about it and asked for a manager. I watched her go and tell some people, they all looked over to us. I lost my appetite by that time and asked for boxes. Still waiting on a manager, no one ever came. We won’t be returning.

Normally our favorite place to dine. But not today. We’re seated right away despite the prom crowd present. Thought-awesome! Only the young man tried to seat us in the far back corner which again normally wouldn’t of been an issue only this it was. As I am 9 months pregnant and can not easily squeeze behind people and there’s little room to do so anyways. But especially being so pregnant. Was so embarrassed and wound up leaving as I simply could t squeeze around to get to our seats.

WORST service at a restaurant I’ve ever experienced! The guy that was supposed to seat us answered the phone TWICE after asking how many were with us and then he never came back after the second time and someone else had to seat us after 10mins. THEN after another 30 mins we just left because no one ever came back to take our order. We were the only people in the diningroom everyone was in the Hibachi.
