I went to this place last night and LOVED it. My husband and I shared the samosas, chapli kebab, murgh malai tikka and punjabi gosht. Oh! And gulab jamun for dessert! Everything tasted amazing and fresh. We also had an amazing waiter, Jetto, please give this guy a raise, such great service and suggestions. All of that came out to approximately $110 ish counting the two beers my husband had.

Somehow I can’t tolerate the spices on Indian food so I always order the very boring chicken tandoori. At NH4 , the waiter recommended Bhuna Murgh Mirchwala to me and it was a great decision as I enjoyed it so much . Of course, Indian food will not be amazing without the garlic naan. Even my husband’s tikka masala and saag paneer were excellent than our favorite restaurant close to home. This restaurant was cozy and servers were attentive and very accommodating . Their sangria… yes sangria in an Indian restaurant… was delicious. Highly recommended and we will return when in the area.

The restaurant is wonderfully decorated. Parking is a tad tough. Me is good but a little limited. I ordered the Samosa Chaat and the Shrimp Tikka Masala. The hardware and overall presentation is nice. The samosa was nicely garnished. The Shrimp Tikka Masala has a good taste but not a deep taste. The shrimp was fresh but with tails and not deveined. And it wasn’t marinated. Would be nice to get some veg or garnish. Just got the biryani. The flavors aren’t rich. Appetizer and entree with $36. The portions were ok. Not small but not Cheesecake Factory portion. A tad high but the ambience, service and presentation compensated for some of the price.

Surprisingly good Indian place that’s nestled in the midst of all shops on the busy East Hartsdale Avenue Street.

This is some of the best Indian food I’ve had in a while. And I’ve had a lot of Indian food. It’s fresh, full of flavor and not your typical standard Indian menu.

Not a typical Indian food place with the same buffet every day! This is a slight upscale and finer dining place suitable for natives lioking for quality and non-indians looking to indulge in Indian food. They’re simple but elevated dishes. Kung-fu cauliflower is a must try, keema do pyaza was superb, and the dal-me kala was simply heartwarming. The lachcha parata is made in tandoori, so it was good for us to avoid the oil. The madras coffee and cutting chai is a must have, if you love/miss or addicted to homemade hot beverages. Price is high for the portion, but the quality is uncompromising.

I had gone after reading other reviews. It is a bit more expensive for some of the dishes if you compare just prices with other similar restaurants in the area but the quality blows you away. You don’t feel it not worth or the value.

Very good food, authentic Indian. I wish the decor was a bit more upscale to match the quality of food.
