First and foremost, we had a handicapped person with us and both handicapped walkways were blocked by outside tables, thus making it very difficult to get in and out. Secondly, we had reservations and when we got there the place was fairly empty (as it was early in the evening), yet we were seated at the table right next to the server station. It felt like we were crammed. The server was nice and offered good service. The manager was also nice when they came around to check on us. We ordered Fried Shrimp (appetizer), Backyard BBQ, , Fried Oysters, and Nashville Chicken Sandwich. We didn’t really want the chicken but there was nothing on the menu for our kid. We also had an Expresso Martini, Prosecco, and an IPA. The drinks were good, the oysters were delicious, and the Nashville Chicken Sandwich was also delicious. The BBQ chicken was okay. The plate that it was served on was not level and kept sliding during the entire meal. A napkin was eventually put on the table just so the meat could be cut without the plate sliding off. Lastly, we were consistently having to swat away small and large flies. I get it, it comes with the territory when you’re outside but it really shouldn’t be happening when you’re seated well within the restaurant. I feel like this restaurant has more to offer, so we will be back.

Absolutely wonderful. We were seated promptly and I reserved a table for 16. It was such a great atmosphere The gentleman up front came and brought people birthday gifts our server was excellent. And I’ll be darned if I can’t remember her name. Food was absolutely amazing probably the best beef of fillet I’ve ever had. Sweet potatoes were amazing. It was a company meeting and we had a great evening Thank you for having availability and serving us. I only got a picture of my dinner. Which was beef of fillet with whipped sweet potato and grilled asparagus.

Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was okay but the food look like it was just thrown on the plate. For a upscale restaurant I thought our food presentation and taste wouldve been better. I mean it was 90 dollars for two shrimp and grits dinners and 2 drinks.

I chose this place simply looking for real food (after 2 meals of burger and fries) on the road down to Hilton Head.

I enjoyed my bolognese but my wife’s shrimp and grits were underdone. We waited for a while at our table to get a server and then had to flag her down just to order.

I gave the restaurant a four star. The experience was really good. Nice ambience, clean, friendly music volume and genre, beautiful lighting and tables. It is good for a family or good for a date. The waiter was friendly, a believe he was possibly still learning. However, I’m on the fence about the food. I ordered the Chef’s Board with the charcuterie and was only able to eat a few things on it. The flavor pallette was not for my buds for sure. Most people would not eat any of those cheeses and I am unsure what the sauce was, but it wasn’t good. The bread was great. The meat was fresh. Then I had the half a chicken in cheerwine sauce with mashed potatoes and asparagus which made up for the chef’s board. It was VERY good. I would order that for take out all day long. However, I tried my daughter’s macaroni and the noodles were hard, under cooked I think. And it lacked flavor. It was almost like a bland alfredo rather than mac ‘n cheese. Lastly, I ordered a martini and felt it fell flat. The flavor of it was wonderful. But I certainly don’t think there was alcohol in my martini. It was a very nice place and setting, a nice place to take a first date, friends visiting, or small business oriented meetings. Anything where the atmosphere is more important than the flavor of the food. I just wasn’t impressed enough to come back. Not on my top 10 places for dinner right now.

Visited this establishment on a Tuesday – Trivia Night. Great atmosphere and the service was good. The food was average. Nothing to write home about. The drinks could have been better.

Great atmosphere and the food is gourmet for a reasonable price. The only disappointment was the missing staple “Voodoo Pasta” which was one of their best dishes. Not sure why it went away, but the menu selection was noticeably reduced from the last time visited. Still a great place to go and I will return, although I am still missing that pasta dish.
