We had a wonderful dinner tonight! The Tapas appetizer was so good and paired nicely with our wine choices. Our dinners were so delicious we had the pork tenderloin and the scallops and added a custom flight of wines. For desert, we shared the lemon raspberry cake. The service was fantastic! We can’t wait to come back soon!

This is a definite gem in the area and an excellent place for a night out for couples or friends. We went for a dinner on the weekend and made reservations online. Once we arrived we were seated immediately in one of the smaller rooms in the charming old house. Our server was very friendly and extremely helpful with some excellent suggestions on her favorites from the menu. We each had an appetizer, entree and dessert and everything we ordered was delicious with ample portions, excellent flavors and high quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable especially with what you get. We would order everything we had again but hope to return and try new dishes in the future.

Excellent service and the food and wine are always phenomenal. Their seasonal menu offerings are on point, with something for everyone. Our last visit, September 17th 2022, we chose to dine outdoors on the patio, though the interior of this restaurant is quite charming.

When you want the absolute best meal in the classiest setting, this is the place. Picture my latest visit if you will. It was early spring, the sun had set and as we sat down at our table snow started to blow outside. We didn’t care as another log had been thrown on the fire and it was warm and inviting inside. The wait staff is as good as they come, making you feel welcome (even when you use the wrong fork). The food shows up. As always, a 5 star dining experience. We eat with the warming flicker of the fireplace and the snow swirling outside and everything is perfect. The experience at J’s is one that is worth having.

Cutest restaurant ever! Went here during the fall months for dinner. Has a rustic homey vibe, sat right next to a warm fire and loved it! For an appetizer we got the fondue cheese and apples with the wine pairing. It was delicious and the wine pairing was perfect. The dinner was also great with perfect portions. I would definitely recommend this place. But try to book out in advance, it’s worth it! Also try the blueberry Merlot I’ve been dreaming about it!

We enjoyed a wine tasting to select a wine for our picnic lunch. We ate al fresco at a dog friendly table which we had reserved. The Street Tacos and Tuna Poke Bowl were particularly good. Everything tastes better outside!

We always have a great experience at J’s. The restaurant is beautiful and charming, the atmosphere is lovely, the food is fantastic and the wine, of course. Is delicious. I’m not a wine person but J’s is the only place I willingly drink wine and the server pairing recommendations have never steered me wrong.

Delicious! Started with short rib empanadas with a really tasty sauce. Had the fried monkfish which was perfectly crispy and had a creamy sauce. The lemon raspberry cake for dessert which was slightly tangy and just sweet enough. The blueberry wine was also very good. Fantastic service. The place feels classy without being over the top so it is a comfortable atmosphere. Came in the spring and I bet it’s even more lovely in the summertime.

I will start out with this, best restaurant in the area. If you have customers you want to impress, and you work in Clinton, then this is the place to go. It gets 4.3 stars in my book. Service was nice with a friendly wait staff. This is the only place I’ve been to that requires a reservation since the staff based on reservations.

Had some street taco’s and figgy piggy pizza with a 117 IPA with BFFs. Enjoyed wine testing after. Malbec was a hit for me and the estate Reisling was nice table wine without dryness many like.
