Poquito Menu – Holland, MI

Type : Tapas restaurant

Location : Holland, MI

Welcome to Poquito. Here, our food is more than a culinary experience, It’s also a cultural one. Our tapas are based on the shareable dishes that originated in Spain and then found their way into other Latin cultures and beyond. The plates are small because they’re meant to be eaten communally, creating space for more flavors, conversations, and memories. In true Spanish and Latin American fashion, there’s no need to rush the meal; though we recommend 3-4 dishes per person, they can be ordered all at once or chosen slowly along the way. So gather your friends, and start sampling.

Based on 204 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.6 stars. Price

What a food adventure! We loved every bite. Service was wonderful, our server was Jade and she did a great job. the atmosphere is romantic and the lighting is perfect. We tried Taquitos, Cheese and Olives, Burrata Salad, Dates, Short Ribs and Garlic Shrimp and Churro Bread Pudding. My wife enjoyed her margaritas, she said they were strong and delicious. Every bite was unique and the flavors were explosive. Do yourself a favor and bring somebody you love here.

I was drawn to this place when I saw that their menu featured classic tapas as well as larger options like a burger and tacos. My husband isn’t always a fan of tapas restaurants, but this place did the trick!

Most everything was amazing. Our waiter was friendly, informative, and attentive from start to finish. My favorite was the 36hr beef, the group favorite was the warm goat cheese and garlic shrimp.

My girlfriend found this place and we decided to check it out while in town. Hands down one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. They have a large variety of small dishes. We ordered a few different small plates and they all were delicious. I will touch on the highlight dishes we ordered. The Al pastor taco was so good. The carnitas on the tacos were cooked perfectly, juicy, and salty which contrasted beautifully with the spicy/sweet salsa. Tortillas were heated up perfectly which added good texture by being a little toasted on the grill. Another dish we ordered was the Garlic Adobado Shrimp. They were juicy and the confit garlic sauce complimented it nicely. We also ordered the Manchego Truffle Fries, they came out so fresh and delicious. Other dishes that we ordered were the Mini Barbacoa Tacos, The Avocado and Honey Tostones, and the Chicken Empanadas which were our least favorite. The chicken inside left a lot to be desired. We also tried out the drinks; which were delightful and for dessert the creme brulee… truly made the meal complete! 10/10 will be back!

Forgot to take photos of all we got, this is their white sangria and smoked empanadas. Everything we tried was DELICIOUS. Their garlic shrimp adobo and crispy Brussel sprouts were also my favorite. Amazing atmosphere, great service. Definitely plan on coming back.

Probably the absolute best Tapas style restaurant I have ever been to. We did have to wait a long time to get in, but it was prom day and they were incredibly busy. But the wait was definitely worth it. We ordered over half of the menu (party of 4) and enjoyed every dish. The drinks were delicious as well. I prefer rum drinks, so I had a couple mojitos and also a coffee and rum desert style drink. If you are in Holland, MI do not miss an opportunity to dine at this amazing restaurant.

Wonderful tapas selection. Each dish was delicious. The 36-hour braised beef was so savory and mouthwatering. Two people in our party was $99. A little pricey, but sooo good!

The food was very good minus a couple small complaints. First we had the bacon wrapped dates and they stole the show. So good! Then we had the cheese wrapped in filo dough and we had split options on it. The wife liked it, I didn’t. Then we had the beef short ribs, and again, they were amazing. The white truffle fries were really good as well. Lastly we had the sea food paella and again we had split opinions on it. I really liked it, the wife wasn’t crazy about it. Over all we had a lot of fun and the food was good.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. Felt like I was tasting real food for the first time. My fiancé said “feels like I’m in Ratatouille.” Absolutely amazing.
