This was an amazing meal. Huge portions – consider sharing! The restaurant managers and staff were super friendly and attentive. For those of us trying hot pot-esque Shabu for the first time, they were very helpful with recommendations. It was a busy Saturday night so we got on the list and walked around the village a bit before getting seated, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I’d come here again next time I visit Park City / Canyons Village!

Second time here and the food was just as good as the first time! It’s very busy and you can put your name on an online wait list. Just be prepared that it might say 50 to 60 minute wait but then you get called 5 minutes later. We both had Ramen and couldn’t stop shoveling it in our mouths. Good selection of beers and cocktails too. I’ll come here every time I come to Canyons!

We stayed at the Canyons for few days and went to Kuchu Shabu in the first evening. The waiter (who I believe also manages the store) was great. Very welcoming and explained how it works and suggested the combination of sauce and type of meet. Not to count the environment – beautiful, clean and lively. The food is amazing. The best combination for the freezing weather. We went again there in the last night before leaving. The waiter remembered us and did even give us some souvenirs. Really nice place and delicious food.

Beyond happy with Kuchu Shabu! We were provided excellent service from the second we opened the door! We were greeted and seated quickly, and a server was over within minutes to explain the menu and answer any questions we had. The entire staff was beyond kind, but I have to give a special shout-out to our server Jonathan! He truly did go above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The food was AMAZING and we will definitely have to go eat here again next time we visit. Thank you so much Jonathan!!

I have been a loyal lover of Kuchu Shabu since it was originally at the Redstone location. I was thrilled when I saw it was in slc but today there was a bug in the fresh before begins of my pho! This is disgusting and sorely disappointing! I hope this is addressed as this bug was alive meaning it had not been washed at all.

Great food and beer, fast service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and unique environment! I got a poke bowl – so delicious!! Austin and his wife (the manager) were so down to earth, I heard him teaching so many about the different flavors and meats and how to use hot pots. Highly recommend after a long day on the slopes!
