This was my first time eating Indian food so I don’t have anything to compare it with. My buddy and I were in on a Saturday and although they were still closed the owner let us in earlier. This is a small restaurant with few tables but I really enjoyed the ambiance. Previous to the Curry Leaf we were up in Thousand Oaks in a place called Himalaya and we had to leave the place because of the way the place was decorated. The Curry Leaf is simple and all about the food.

We love this place. Live across the street and have been getting take out 1-2 times a week on average. Lunch deal is such a great value! Really hope the business does well and stays open. Can’t wait to go back once things “open” again. The Chicken Tikki Marala is a fav, extra spicy (not spicy at all really but super tasty). Highly recommend. …Update: we were overcharged a fee times they don’t provide an itemized bill, but I am very familiar with pricing. So sad, we won’t be back

Only takeout and outside dining now with Covid. Our takeout was good but some of it not hot. I got there at the appointed time and the food was ready for pickup, but seems it may have been ready for a while before I got there. It was tasty, and there was plenty, just not as hot as it should have been.

The food here was good except the Lamb Biryani which was more like a mix of rice and fried lamb. To be honest it was too bad to be even rated. The staff were pretty cooperative but the owner seemed a bit over friendly to a point when it was feeling irritable. The portions are smaller than the average in the market I would say. Overall this restaurant will be my last choice when considering Indian restaurants.

Very high quality, unique flavors you can’t get around Camarillo; however, it’s one chef and he cooks one table at a time! So it’s slow! As long as you know that going in, it’s excellent, a ton of food needs time to digest for comfort anyway.

Whenever we’re in Southern California, we make sure we have at least one meal here (or at least grab some take-out). The Manchurian Cauliflower is the best I have ever had anywhere. It’s a must-have. I can eat an order by myself.
