I stayed here for one day and one night at the Marriott. I like this restaurant alot. Super convenient for anyone to get lunch or breakfast. The food was flavorful, and tasty. The atmosphere was chill and everyone was so welcoming. My server was Dejour. She was super nice and made sure to check on me. I will be coming back just for this restaurant!

Not too shabby breakfast buffet inside the Marriott Hotel in New Orleans. $25.00

The fish tacos were fresh and had the right amount of spice. The gumbo was tasty, but very thin with only a few bits of meat in it. The service was underwhelming. The greeter acted irritated that she had to get off her phone to seat us. Our server was ok, but very slow to get my husband his beer. It arrived at our table right after we got our food.

Their breakfast is amazing. So is their red beans and rice and beignets. They close at 2 but you can still order food from the bar/lobby area or in the pantry.

I had the lobster Mac and gumbo. Both were excellent!

I ordered the charboiled oysters and they were so delicious! Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and juicy. The oysters were sprinkled generously with melted cheese and sat on top of thick salt rocks. If I knew they’d be this delicious, I would have ordered more!

This restaurant/bar is in the lobby of the New Orleans Marriott on Canal St. It’s a really cool/classy atmosphere, but even with my price expectations adjusted for the French Quarter, the food is still too expensive for what you get here. The only reason I would eat here (unless they overhaul the menu) would be if it’s pouring rain and I’m staying at the hotel. Otherwise, there are too many good food places within a short walk of the Marriott.

I thought this was really good! I had the crab cakes add the red beans and rice and it was delicious! Price wasn’t bad either!

This is for the lounge…. in short the waitstaff made this place horrendous. They had a chip on their shoulders as big as the Mississippi is wide. They quibbled over who was responsible for which area and then vanished for long periods of time leaving empty water glasses and parched patrons waiting for drinks that never seemed to make it to the table. They will not have to worry soon though…. with services like it will be a deadzone.
