I’ve been buying lunch for my staff here for years and it has always been good. I saw new people today and it seems things have changed. The pizza wasn’t good. The crust was thick, chewy and about 1.5″ on a 16″ pie, so less toppings. The chicken was fried too hard and, no, the sauce couldn’t cover it up or soften it. When I placed the order I asked the young lady how many slices on a large pizza, her response, “I’m not sure, 4 or 5”. How can you cut a pizza into an odd number of slices? You’re answering the phone, how about you know the answer to a basic pizza question. Finally, they don’t tell you, nor did I see it posted, that they charge for using a credit card, “cc service fee”. I own a business. I understand how much fees are, but, be upfront with your customers. Don’t worry, I won’t be back.

The company that I work for always orders pizza from here. We spend an average of close to $100 every other week. This past week our order has been messed up. We notified and the manager stated they gave us the wrong order he took note of the order, name and took down our number for a free pizza on them. This past day the company planned to order again that will include the pizza that is promised. Instead the person on the phone stated the manager who claimed to leave a note is on vacation and they will not be able to provide. We then explained what had happened but instead of trying to understand the situation, the representative instead wanted to argue with one of our employees on the phone. The person was very rude (and note we order big and always leave tip EVERY time). We have been a long time customer at this Royals Pizza place for years but today makes an end. Please check who you hire as your employees (Royal Pizza), very disrespectful on the phone. You have lost this company as a customer.

My mom and I order from royals all the time but this time was very different. We called them up and ordered like we normally do. An hour went by and we still hadn’t gotten our food. So we ended up calling them again to see if our food was done or maybe there is difficulty. A lady then picked up the phone and we began to telling her our situation. She said that our driver had just left and we would be getting our food in the next ten minutes. After that they proceeded to call us back and tell us that the driver had been came to drop off the food, and left the food ON THE GROUND. We went outside to check for the food and there were ants all over the pizza and the bags. The food had be left outside for over 20 minutes and they didn’t ring the door bell nor call us to tell us the driver was outside.

My family and I ordered a large order of food this evening. My daughter and I got wings, and hubby got a cheese steak. Part way through eating my daughter mentioned the weird smell and taste of her wings, when we smelled them they smelled rotten. I smelled mine and they were the same way. Hers were BBQ and mine were hot wings. At first I couldn’t tell why my wings tasted the way they did. Well suffice it to say the chicken was bad! We called them immediately and they gave full refund, because we didn’t want the food replaced. Giving them one star because there is no option for zero star. The kitchen didn’t look clean or very sanitized. I am gonna call the health department tomorrow to report them. Stay away from this disgusting place.

I ordered a crab cake sandwich on white bread, with lettuce tomato mayo ketchup onions and hots…. And I got wheat bread with the flattest thinnest “crab cake” I’ve ever seen. Fries look ok but they are actually hard. First experience and last! I do no recommend them!!!! Thankfully I used Door dash so I could get some of my money back for this meal I can’t even eat.

The turkey bacon club was absolute trash and when I called I was put on hold for 10 mins only for the guy tell me that the owner refused to make it right and that there was nothing he could do for me. Never ordering from here again.

Reading the reviews I was very scared I’d get sick from eating their food but I’ve tried their pizza a couple times at my job when a coworker has ordered it and whatnot and ….Well I was feeling very hungry and their pizza is light weight and it is pretty good in my opinion but not too good but it does hit different when you’re super hungry. The delivery took over an hour and I thought they’d never arrive. I feel like the customer service could be better and communication.When delivering they should use accurate estimated arrivals and have a system where the customer can check when they are coming. The reason I say this is because if the food says it will come in 10-25 minutes but takes more than that, that can be a safety issue concerning food not staying fresh.

I have ordered from Royal for years and years now. Not only is my food always hot, fresh, and correct, but my delivery time is incredibly fast. I have never been treated with anything but kindness and respect by the staff. So to the 1 star reviewers: maybe try tipping the delivery people if you want quicker service. You get what you pay for, especially in this economy.

Do not order carryout online from this place. I ordered two cheese steak subs and two orders of fries for $54! It was ready when I got there, but they got the toppings wrong on both subs and they gave me seasoned fries when I ordered the regular kind. They also add a charge for some kind of $1 donation with no way to de-select it! Not only does the food stink but they’re also pan-handling. I went there because it was nearby. Never again.
