First time to try Ethiopian food. It was my son’s choice because he is more adventurous than me. We went here for the experience. It appears to not be in the best area/plaza but we had no problems and there was plenty of parking. It was a comfortable, simple, clean and interesting atmosphere with great service and the server was pleasant and helpful in giving suggestions. Apparently you do not eat with silverware. You pick up the food using the spongy flatbread. We didn’t know that. But they will provide silverware if you ask. There doesn’t appear to be many textures to there food but very unique flavors. There are many vegetarian/vegan choices. If you like to explore different foods this is the perfect place to try and very reasonably priced.

Donot judge this amazing restaurant from where it is located! Anyone who likes to try international cuisines I would highly recommend this place. I have eaten Ethopian food in many cities and I can confidently say this has not disappointed in anyway from service, ambiance and quality of food.

First time to this Ethiopian restaurant but been to several around the US and this place was great. I really enjoyed the interior of the place and how the menu had a ton of history and information. Our server was also friendly, proud and personable. It was also a great value. My family of four with 2 small kids ate for under $40. I will come back soon

The one and only Ethiopian restaurant in the Miami area! Everything you could want in terms of food selection, service, etc. Clean, very friendly, with constant customers in and out the door. Located in a shopping plaza towards the back. Well worth the trip.

If you are the adventurous type about food from other countries, then you must try this Ethiopian restaurant in Miami Gardens. It is the only Ethiopian restaurant south of Orlando. As you can see, the reviews are very good.

This place is a great surprise off the beaten path of restaurants. The space itself is very simple and unassuming which helps put the focus entirely on the food.

Not the best looking area for food. But when you walk in you can feel the cultural change. The people were very nice but keep conversations short. The kitchen closed fast but we still got our food.

Living on the Caribbean islands, we don’t have a whole lot of diverse ethnic food options – so I was on a special quest to make this my first stop as soon as I landed in MIA. In fact, I found Awash by accident in my search but am so glad I did. The last time I had the opportunity to eat Ethiopian food was at a restaurant in Los Angeles over 10 years ago.

One of our favorite places to eat when visiting south Florida. Excellent food and wonderful service. The Azifa is outta this world. I love the VEGAN options that are available. We were there during dome roasting of some coffee beans which added an extra exciting and aromatic experience to our lunch. Very clean restrooms and very busy which is always great to see. Highly recommend.

Amazing Ethiopian cuisine! The traditional platter was great, especially chicken and lentils. Sambusa with lentil were delicious as well! I highly recommend! It’s the best Ethiopian restaurant in Florida!
