First of all for an airport restaurant this was the best in the world. Fresh food cooked to order. Real shakes, real burgers ( not hockey pucks), real chicken- can’t be beat! Went with my wife and two young children, and every single one of us enjoyed and said if this diner was in our hometown we would come every week!!

Update 7/23 prices have gone up. Other than that, the Oaxaca omelet is still very good and so was the fruit that comes with it.

First time having a late brunch here. Had 3 hrs to burn for a connecting flight so me and my family decided to give it a try. And wow, everything from the service to the staff, food and atmosphere was fantastic. Would recommend it to anyone. Family friendly and I was happy to see an old quarter music player on display.

This is by far the most unique diner I’ve ever been to in terms of selection. No other diner I’ve ever seen offers bison burgers and chicken “lollipop” drumsticks. Definitely a very fancy diner; sort of like Johnny Rocket’s but more upscale. If you’re passing through BWI, I highly recommend it.

When I tell you how excited I became when I saw multiple vegan options on the menu. It does not feel like you’re in an airport. Keyra gave us top notch service, giving detailed descriptions about the vegan options. The food was seriously delicious and the bonus ,they are a farm to table establishment.Another bonus, they were playing 60’s hits .

Today was my first time trying Silver Diner and unfortunately I will not be returning. I ordered the heart breakfast. It looked delicious, however the flavor did not deliver. My sausage wasn’t fully cooked. It was still pink in the middle. I assumed the potato were home fries which usually comes with onions but they didn’t. They were dry. My bacon was hard. Although I was disappointed with my meal, the real disappointment came from the manager. I brought it to his attention and he never apologized. He didn’t prepare the meal personally but an apology goes a long way. I took one bite of everything and explained I didn’t want my food. I’m not understanding the rave reviews. Perhaps I picked the wrong item on the menu.

My server was good, and the French Toast was also good, but my praise ends there. This place needs a thorough cleaning. Quite grimy, and I saw at least one mouse. Shake took forever to be made, and the taste wasn’t worth the wait nor the cost.

Had a 3 hour layover – a Southwest counter agent said the Silver Diner was the best place to hang, and the food is worth it! I was expecting an average airport dining experience, and I was so surprised! Kira was an amazing host – it’s so refreshing to see someone who enjoys what they’re doing, and she’s such a positive influence for her co-workers. And the food – I got the eggs bearnaise with crab cakes. It’s been a while since I’ve been in the Baltimore harbor restaurants, and these cakes were phenomenal. The crab was delicious- Kira said they just changed the recipe (less filler), and it shows! I loves my hollandaise, but this bearnaise was out of this world. Fabulous attention to detail, such as the English muffin toasted on the flattop, made for a memorable experience. High praise for the Silver Diner and Kira. You turned a 3 hour layover into a foodie’s dream.

My Bartender Amber was quick to take my order and swiftly place a drink in front of me while I waited a handful of minutes for my Cobb Salad. After asking a few individuals around me, I can confirm that mine as well as others feel that the Silver Diner is one leg up from typical airport food. Portion are more than adequate and no hiccups on a modified order. Will be making this establishment a MUST GO on future trips to/through Baltimore.

I got seated very quickly and had good service. I got the pancake meal with eggs and that costed $15. It is a little pricey, but if you don’t want fast food and have some time between flights this is a good place to stop.
