Great food, great service, great cornbread! I love the atmosphere too. I could barely keep my hands off the food. The beef on a bun is incredible! The gravy is to die for! The chocolate pie was unexpected in flavor but in a good way! Will be coming again!

Just wanted to have a nice lunch with my son but Lisa and Tammy ruined this experience for us. I have not experienced anything like this where you can feel the vibe was bad but against my better judgment I wanted to give them a try. I hate to say but it exhibited a great deal of racism. First our food took a long time but I let that ride because I saw a guy walk in and sat next us and get his food ate it and left while we were still sitting and waiting on our food. Lisa acted as if I annoyed her when I asked her how much was the daily meal and I informed her I couldn’t see it due to my vision being temporarily impaired, she just looked off like I didn’t say anything. Next the food comes out and my son’s salad had old lettuce in it and I asked for a food replacement and with a bad attitude Lisa said that is a fresh bag she just walked off and said I will make you another salad that is not what I wanted. They gave my son a unclean looking container for his food and when he asked for another one she had an attitude apparently she shared this with Tammy because later she said we are wasting there products. So I asked for a manager hoping I would get a non bias person to hear me the paying customer about concerns about our meal but Tammy came over with her attitude and arms crossed defending Lisa before I even opened my mouth about how all this was going and the experience that we were having at this restaurant she did state she got different story from Lisa about what was going on. They were trying to provoke an argument with me but I kept the conversation low and professional unlike them they got loud and was using body language that drew attention to our table. This was not a great experience and I try to support local businesses but they don’t ever have to worry about getting my black dollars anymore and I am letting others know how they treated us. If you are black stay away we didn’t feel welcomed or wanted. In the photo a lot of brown lettuce is under the other fresher looking lettuce I was able to pull a piece of the brown lettuce from under the other lettuce. BTW Tammy told us that we should just eat at home which I have no problem with that if I am going to be treated like this. So in so many words you are saying you don’t service blacks at this establishment, GOT IT!!!

I enjoy their food and service is good but the portions have gotten smaller, the price has gone up as well. They don’t let you order a meat and 2 vegetables anymore. So you have to get the meat and 3 vegetables. You no longer get a choice of roll or cornbread with your meal. So disappointed.

Our server had a Wednesday Adams vibe going on I loved it. The service was phenomenal, me and my buddy got the country fried steak, I got the fried okra , tots and sweet tea , he got the baked potato and veggies and all that baked potato got gone. Got 4 tea refills and never had to ask, I finished strong with the coconut cream pie and topped two different ladies for the excellent service we received. Y’all are amazing will be back!!!!

This place has gone out of this world on price I went there for lunch last week had roast beef mashed potatoes Mac and cheese and pinto beans and the waitress said they had no corn bread sticks cause they were short on cooks but they had four waiters and two of them were sitting at a table doing nothing teach them how to cook corn bread stick it’s easy so I got the roll when I walked up to pay they said $18.00 I asked the girl at the register all I had was meat and three she said yeah everything has gone up I’m like yaw are crazy I’ll never eat there again and I did tip the waiter 2.00 dollar tip so it cost me 20.00 dollars to eat lunch

We just ate there. They have gone down hill. First we were really disappointed because they don’t give the cornbread when you first get there. That is one of the reasons we go there. The food portions were half the amount they used to be. But the prices were still the same if not a little more.

We were looking for a nice little place to eat and found Moss’! The food was amazing, the roast beef is so juicy, real mashed potatoes, not the spuds, and the Mac and cheese was great! My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak! We will be returning soon! Our waitress was absolutely wonderful as well!!

If your wanting to eat healthier I do not recommend this place. The salad i ordered was nasty w/o taste. I sampled the peach cobbler and it wasn’t quite satisfying. But their hospitality and service was great.
