It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. I asked one of the managers to tell the cook NOT TO SMASH my hamburger. Well , it looked really intentional. There were many managers on duty there. Would think the message would have been taken seriously. Perhaps management needs to be relocated or retrained along with the cooks , this problem is chronic at this store.

Date and time 5/24/23 6:22a.m. waited at the window for 10 minutes for my order and when I got to work it’s wasn’t even the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit I ordered. Not very appealing to even look at. Whataburger has let me down. The service has gone downhill and very slow.

Overall service was piss poor at all cost I waited almost an hour in line just to finally receive my food and it was just as cold as the drink so my order literally just sat to the side. Employees carry an I don’t care attitude when it comes to customer service. Last time I visit this establishment and I actually liked their food.

Grilled chicken sandwich was good as far as taste is concerned. WHY so much sauce? I had to remove top bun because of the amount of sauce it kept slipping off and getting all over. Very sloppy sandwich and bad assembly. Waiting time, about 10 minutes during lunch hour. Not bad.

Food was great but disappointed that I ordered on the app, signed in to let them know I was there, waited 15 minutes in my car for curbside pickup and no one ever came out. I finally had to go inside and get my order.

There is not a Whataburger by me in Fl so I was looking forward to it. But the 25 min wait with two drive thru was insane then our food was incorrect, the one in our party of 4 who requested no onions got alot of onions . The burgers were hot but french fries were cold . Dr Pepper shake was awesome. Our server was polite and friendly.

Pulled into the drive thru, watched the car in front of us order with no problems. We pull up, get no response, even when we ask if anyone is there. Then we watched a truck pull up to the second lane and get a welcome and they got to order right away before pulling ahead of us. We thought maybe there was something wrong with the speaker box so we ask two more times if anyone is there, kind of confused, and we’re met with “you’re gonna have to give us a minute.” We were kinda taken aback and another car pulled into the second lane and began ordering because they were welcomed and got an immediate response! We just left. We have both worked in food before so we’re very patient and understanding but this was so ridiculous!

The service is always great here even while it’s busy. I need to remember to fill out the surveys. I hope the worker are paid well and fairly because they sure keep people coming back. I live in Goliad but I will go here over the one by my place.

This place needs to give better customer service. The cashier was too slow to take our order. Employees seemed to look confused. Tables needed to be cleaned. The whole hour that we were there, one employee spent his time cleaning the inside walls of the restaurant and on his cell phone; not once did he bother asking if we needed anything or if everything was okay. He spent more time acting cool and acting like he was “working” instead of helping other employees.

Ordered food in the drive through, guy taking our order was nice and made the corrections we needed, got to the window and they gave us food completely wrong. Went back inside to get is fixed never received an apology for the mistake except for when we where leaving, and we still didn’t get everything we where supposed to plus they charged us for the things they didn’t add the first time which I don’t mind if you dont make me wait 30mins for my food, I had to go get my kids meal items because no one gave it back in the remake and we never even received the drink for the order… didn’t feel like a priority and managers don’t know what they are doing relying solely on the GM to fix mistakes. This was a terrible experience. I used to work fast food and I’m telling you it’s not that hard to get it right.
