Addicted to this place. After my 1st order of ribs I’ve been here at least 2 days a week faithfully. Will continue and you should as well. The ribs are so tender the bones are tender as well. YUM! Love it

Best southern BBQ we’ve had in a LONG time, including our recent trip to North Carolina! Great bite, cooked well, portion sizes were outstanding. Well worth the trip … we will be back!!

My boyfriend and I stopped here on my birthday. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The ribs were juicy and tender, the chicken was as well. The yams and potato salad were everything!! I didn’t get to try the soda but I will next time. The owner was kind and nice and everyone should visit his establishment.

A small operation run by an a South Carolina native. This is a food trailer permanently parked at his residence. The meat is smoked just a few feet from where you buy it. The owner uses a Carolinas vinegar “sauce” that has a very mild kick. The pork is tender. The chicken falls off the bone. The ribs have a proper char. I haven”t tried the bricket yet. The sides are all tasty. Most are traditional, but I especially liked the collard greens. They appear to also be treated with his vinegar sauce which results in a lighter, brighter flavor as opposed to the heavier, stewy styles. I like both, but this made for a nice change. As for the corn muffin, I prefer a course textured, higher corn content, southern corn bread.

Ribs and cornbread are a 5. The potato salad is southern style and okay, but I am not a good judge as I have only had it a few time. The Mac and cheese was not what I am used to, but had a tasty spicey bite. The ribs are really the star, so tasty and not smothered in a heavy sweet sauce.

So this is my review. The flavors are amazing. I had the beef brisket sandwich and a side of mac and cheese. Both had good flavor but both were very dry. I usually go taino but they’ve been closed due to carona v. So im checking out other places for my bbq fix. Like I said their flavors are good but maybe they should not cook their meat as long and give it a good rest. Or maybe a lower slower approach. This is just constructive criticism. Also with your mac a nice smoked cheddar,American, Colby mix would do wonders for you. All and all a good bbq. Would like them to go next level

Always good food, great bbq flavor. Not too spicy, just a nice sweetness. Sides are fantastic. Collard greens and baked beans are a favorite. Corn muffins are some of the best I’ve ever had.

If you are looking for some true authentic smoked BBQ in CT, this would be the place to stop. Best smoked BBQ in the state. NO one compares. They use hardwood to smoke the meats. Prices are fantastic and portions are great! You are truly missing out if you do not stop in. Great destination for bikers as well.
