We were out of town and needed a late lunch. Found Hank’s only 4 miles from our location on route home, conveniently located on Route 6. This is popular for the locals, and we were not disappointed. Service from start to finish was amazing with loving hospitality! The food was hot and full of flavor ! Strongly recommended and moments from Route 395 if you’re passing by! You can’t miss out stopping in here!

Stopped in for dinner while out enjoying a drive. Got an appetizer sampler, but was so hungry I just dove into it before taking a picture. I got a Philly steak sandwich and my husband got a fish & chips. Both were very good. Will definitely take a ride back again.

We enjoyed our senior meals. The Manhattan clam chowder was very good, as was the pot roast. The zucchini squash was nicely seasoned and not too soft. We always like the tapioca pudding. We’ll be back soon!

We were passing through town and stopped for dinner. The restaurant is a pleasant combination of thoughtful retro with a nod to the present. The servers were attentive and genial. The calamari was tender and flavorful, the cobb salad was delicious, and the roasted chicken was moist and tender. The menu has some popular traditional options but also includes more modern fare. This is one of those beloved local places that is enduring because the owners care about quality and customer satisfaction.

overpriced for tiny portions + inaccurate menu- ordered salad which was ON the menu and they said they didn’t, but i got one anyways which was a tiny portion with melted(???) cheese on top it was somehow cold but the lettuce was still floppy. i also asked for no tomatoes and still got them. they forgot two entire items from the order but still charged. not coming back and definitely disappointed

The fish portion of the fish and chips was small. The caprese salad was appropriately priced. The fries were very good and would have been perfect if they had Heinz instead of generic ketchup.

First time here! Greeted by the hostess as soon as I walked in! Got seated right a way! Met some great people! I had the Rueben sandwich which was packed and came with fries and a pickle spear! Delicious

We just love Hanks Restaurant. Had the Turkey dinner tonight and it was fabulous. Our waitress was informative with the menu and just so friendly. Definitely a keeper!

My wife and I took our two young sons to an early dinner and had a very enjoyable experience. The service and food were both top notch, and the boys enjoyed their meals — and specially the ice cream at the end which is a very nice Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Very disappointed with our first and most likely last visit to Hank’s. After being seated and getting or drinks I had to ask for a glass for my bottle of beer. We ordered our food, I asked for a queen cut prime rib and my wife ordered the new york sirloin. Neither one was cooked ask requested but close enough that we ate them. My prime rib came floating in a half inch of au jus. That had flavor, the rib did not. I asked for a separate plate to move my steak to so I could cut it without sending au jus everywhere. I might have tried if I had a sharp knife. I actually switched to my butter knife as it cut better. My potato came on a tiny bowl but was a good potato. My wife asked for sour cream but we were not offered any toppings. When we asked for salads my wife asked what dressings you had and was told, “pretty much everything except creamy Italian”. She did not ask what you don’t have and we still have no clue what you do have. My prime rib was bigger than I expected and later found I was billed for a king cut so that explains it I guess. I had my beer bottle and glass on the wall side of the table and moved the bottle to the other side of the table to notify the server I would like another one. She and others walked by numerous times never asking how we were doing or if we needed anything. They looked at the bottle and walked past. Needless to say, I only had one beer.
