Really enjoyed our authentic Italian dishes at Mondo! The menu was incredible so we definitely plan to go back and try some of their brick oven pizzas. We had the fruitti di mare and salmon fish, and both were delicious. Lovely atmosphere and nice outdoor seating amongst some greenery and plants.

Overall, the Italian restaurant offered excellent food with a good selection. The service, although generally satisfactory, was quite slow.

I really do hope to give them another try. We went for our 5 year wedding anniversary and sat in the dining room (not the bar area). It was not busy at all for a Saturday night.

This is my first time eating at Mondo Italian Kitchen. I was truly pleased with the hospitality and customer service. The food was amazing! They close at 9:30 p.m on Saturday. I called to ask if it was too late for me to come since it was already 8:45 p.m. Whoever answered told me I could still come and I wouldn’t be rushed out. I was pleased to hear that. The atmosphere was very rustic and chill. My waiter was named Taylor and he was absolutely adorable and very accommodating. I ordered a few items to give a good review. The Veal Saltimbocca was perfect! My San Genaro pizza came with Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, and onions. My taste buds were quite happy! I also had parmesan zucchini french fries and garlic bread without the fondue. I must admit those were great as well. My Mai Tai cocktail was quite enjoyable as well. They had a cute little board that you can sign your name so they absolutely knew that Jewel was there! Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you so much for your wonderful service.

We are new to Alpharetta and decided to try out Mondo Italian Restaurant. My wife and I had a great dinner. The homemade bread was crusty and airy and a perfect accompaniment to our meal. The Bolognese was truly authentic and delicious. Joe the owner was very hospitable and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. Folks, if you have not tried this hidden gem yet, please give it a chance. You won’t be disappointed. Until next time Mangia Bene!

Decided to stop at Mondo Italian Kitchen on a Tuesday evening. It was very quiet but we were greeted warmly by the server and then the owner Joe. Learned about the restaurant and decided to try a few of the suggestions. Starting with crispy garlic knots, mini calzone and some delicious ciabatta bread with dipping oils and spices. I had the Fra Diavlo and my wife chicken Marsala . Wow, fresh tasty and really good! Their sauce is one of the best red sauces I have ever had in an Italian restaurant, and I must admit… I’m picky with Italian food. If you live in the Roswell/ Alpharetta/ Milton area and are looking to add a “mom & pop” non corporate restaurant to your selections give Mondo Italian Kitchen a try! era delizioso!

What a pleasant surprise. The food was really good and excellent service. The wait is worth it when its this fresh. The place is a little hidden and worth checking out. Love little places like this. Macy/Macie sp? was awesome.

Very nice italian restaurant with a unique style and ambience. Food was great so was the staff. Very courteous and helpful in finding the best meal option for us, explaining what can be accomodated per choice etc. For e.g we were looking for something in Vegan, so they gave multiple options options possible customized out of regular ones. Potatoes were so good that we ended up ordering just a side of potatoes after our meals. Definitely would like to recommend and come back here

First time at Mondo, and it was great. Nice quiet atmosphere, and amazing food. The chef also came out, and he happened to be an ex ice hockey goalie just like my son and shared some great stories. Will definitely be back.
