Butternut squash pizza is succulent! Crust is wood fired to perfection. The flavors compliment each other with every bite, leaving you wanting more. Carrot plate is brilliant. Hot honey added a genius contrast to the dill yogurt.

Right off the bat, when we arrived the service in the establishment was superb, as all the waiters and employees were very kind and outgoing (I want to especially think one waiter, but I cant remember his name, but he was arguably the nicest out of all of them! He was wearing a black shirt/hoodie at the time.) The fur decorations and the modern designs of the interior of the restaurant really set the mood for the food we were about to eat. The Salmon pizza we ordered has just the right amount of creaminess, freshness, crunch, tang, and oil, which all amalgamated into a pizza that was delectable while also not leaving you with a queasy feeling in the stomach. The wood fired carrots blew us away, as the just-right level of tenderness that the carrots had, as well as the various sauces that the dish with the salad made it almost reminiscent of an tasty, otherworldly meat-dish(made of veggies). I would recommend anyone to come to this place for a delicious and new taste sensation, unless one has an extreme hatred towards vegetables.

Super cute! Only been open for 2 months, but this is the perfect lunch spot on a sunny day. The view is really nice and it’s cozy and aesthetically pleasing inside. The staff is really friendly and our pizza and salad came out so fast!

First time visitor to Balboa Island. Just happened upon this place and noticed the wood-fired pizza oven in the back and I had to try it. Honestly probably the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’m a pizza connoisseur lol. The wood-fired ranch salad was phenomenal as well. These guys are doing it right. Great view of marina from the restaurant, beer on tap and wines available too. Will most certainly be back on my next trip. I’m shocked to see it only has 4 star average because my kids voted it 10 stars out of 5. 🙂

The location is great and the people who work here are super helpful and friendly. The food is weird and we did not like it. Our family of 3 ordered two pizzas and two salads. I got the butternut squash vegan pizza. I am normally a big fan of weird food and vegan pizzas but here it was just really odd. I did not want to eat it so I ordered a replacement salad. The salad had way too much dressing and then even more dressing on the side of the plate. Similar comments about our other two menu items. It just felt like the menu was trying to be cool but the food didn’t “go.” I will say the crust on the pizzas was excellent so we’ll check the menu again in a few months to see if they change it.

You have to order at the counter and then find a seat, but the food is excellent! Had the most delicious beet pasta, artichoke pizza, and arugula salad with mushrooms and Parmesan! Fantastic! The cocktail was just okay. View was amazing! Will definitely go back! Not a lot of seating inside.
