A late date night to get out of the house and pulled into a parking lot plaza. I’m glad we did! Arrived at Lulu’s at 9:30PM, 10PM closing time. We walked in with a warm greeting by staff. We weren’t rushed to order. We received friendly, professional service from arrival to departure. The food was very appealing to the eye and DELICIOUS. We found a gem and will return. Will recommend to family and friends.

If you want to eat Latin food this is the best place in Lexington. It is the closest taste you will have to experience the real Caribbean and Latin American food. Not only that, you can listen to live Latin American Music every Friday. We met the creator of the name Salsa for the music. It was a blast.

Recently moved to SC from Boston and have been on the search for authentic PR food since moving. The restaurant is on the smaller side but has a chill vibe which I appreciated. Ordered both the beef and chicken empanadas, shrimp and guacamole tostones, chuleta frita, carne frita and shrimp al ajillo. Beef empanadas were good missing a little flavor but the chicken empanadas were on the drier side and with less flavor then the beef. The shrimp and guac tostones were awesome I would just say that the proportions were a bit off meaning it needed less guac or a bigger toston. The chuleta frita was lacking flavor but the carne frita and shrimp al ajillo were absolutely delicious! I think the biggest disappointment of the night was when we ordered yellow rice with all our dishes expecting arroz con gandules which is a universal staple in PR cooking to be served Mexican yellow rice ♀️. I feel like if they are going to do a split menu with PR dishes and Mexican dishes they should differentiate the rice served. I guess for people never having ventured into PR food the rice wasn’t bad but a let down nonetheless. The service was good and would just recommend the servers work on pronunciation. Only got around to taking one pics of the empanadas as we were too hungry to stop and get pictures of everything. Prices were good based on serving sizes but I’ll keep searching for the PR Caribbean taste I miss and love.

This place is amazing! All the food is incredible and authentic. The owners are the sweetest and most accommodating to your needs. A staple for Lexington no doubt. Different from any other type of Latin cuisine around town and the most delicious! Give them a taste and you won’t be disappointed.

As a NY-Bred lover of Puertorican dishes I’ll say it is great to have this establishment even available to try.

Wonderful staff Jill sat us and was our waitress! She was super nice and helpful. We had our 2 year old with us and she was very interactive with him and went above and beyond to get him a cup with a lid and other things to be more kid friendly. The kids meal was relatively cheap but was enough food for an adult. The nachos were massive and delicious. Overall, wonderful food and service. Would definitely recommend.

Came across this restaurant and decided to go to visit with the family. We are Puerto Rican & we were excited to try some of the dishes. I have to say we were very pleased with everything that we ordered from the appetizers to the main entrée!!! We will definitely return and recommend this hidden gem!

We just had date night at this cute little eatery in the Flight Deck Shopping Center. We were quickly seated and served drinks. I had the Churassco Mofongo, which was a nicely seasoned skirt steak with onions and peppers, garlic mofongo (plantains), yellow rice, and salad. Excellent dish. Being a light eater, my wife ordered the Cubano Empandas. Nothing to write home about. Mostly dough, which was over cooked, with a modest amount of ingredients. Needs some kind of seasoning, very bland. Great service from Caytlon. Will be back to try some other offerings.

Pork chops were overcooked. Peppers disappeared ,hamburger meat overcooked. Waitress should tone down the perfume. Overall, good food.

The place was ok, clean and they have a nice bar. However, it seemed the AC wasn’t working so it was too warm ♀️ there were also flies and my 9 yr old son was more concerned about covering his food than eating… I ordered the skirt steak with mofongo and my husband ordered churrasco with shrimps and as appetizers we ordered yuca and chicharrón… I was very disappointed ☹️ food had no flavor at all… I’m not from the area but was craving some Latin food so we drove about an hour to this 4.6 rating restaurant but I left very disappointed, I will not return. The staff was very nice and kind and attention was good.
