Great options! I love the “Choose 2” meals! The menu is varied with sandwiches, salads, stuffed baked potatoes, and desserts. It’s clean and inviting and has friendly staff. They have greatly improved their speed of service which is always appreciated during lunch. The app makes it easy to order right from your table or ahead of time for easy pickup.

Large, counter service deli chain serving sandwiches, soups, spuds, salads, sides and sweet tea sets its sights as the newcomer in town. Located in the newly developed Celebration Square with Eugenia’s Steakhouse, this marks the sixth locale countywide. Founded in Mississippi over 30 years ago, it has opened more than 400 restaurants across 28 states. Bright, open dining room that runs a mixture of booths, tables and chair and high top counter in the back overlooking the floor to ceiling windows facing the large outdoor patio. Counter staff were personable and efficient and we were soon seated waiting for our order. One of our go to regulars is the McAlister’s Club with deli fresh smoked turkey, Black Forest ham, crispy bacon, sharp cheddar, Provolone, spring mix, sliced tomato, mayo and McAlister’s Honey Mustard on toasted wheat. Meat was plentiful, veggies fresh, nicely toasted bread and plenty of flavor. Our side was the choice of mac and cheese that was creamy. Love the pickle spears that come with it. Good food at a reasonable price.

I have always loved McAlister’s, but the past few times we have gone, the quality of the food has been lacking. I ordered online, and I received a call that they were out of potatoes. It was still early yet, so that was very disappointing. I had to order a substitution. When my husband got his club, there was barely any meat on it, nothing like what the clubs used to be. The pickup window screen is now gone. When you pull up, you have to ring a doorbell on the window, and the sign for that is written with a magic marker on the metal. I suppose they are cutting costs.

Food is very good but staff and order consistency isn’t there. Twice I’ve come home and there was no salad dressing for my salad. Last trip a young lady at the pickup window got our name for the order and then disappeared. After about 15 minutes I rang the buzzer and a young man got our order. When I asked where she was and what happened he just shrugged his shoulders.

We usually love going to McAllisters because the food is always delicious. But, tonight we went into eat inside the location and it was absolutely disgusting and filthy. There was at least 6 tables with trash and food left on them the entire duration of our visit which was around one hour. We also sat down at one of the “clean” tables and ants were crawling on us so we had to move. We moved to another table in the back and there was soup spilled but luckily an employee left a spray bottle and rag on the table beside us so I just cleaned our table so we could eat. The food was tasty but the spring mix on our sandwiches and salads was brown and gross. Also the employees acted like they didn’t know what they were doing when taking our order and one of their employees was sleeping at a table when you walked in!!! We will not be back to this location.

Unfortunately I must say it was a disappointing visit to McAlister in Conway today. My meal was exactly as ordered but my partner asked for specific items on his sandwich and was totally ignored with his requests. I went up to ask for mayo and the first reply was “we don’t have any”, then someone who looked like they could have been the manager came by and said, “of course we do”. On further inspection of the sandwich, none of the items requested were on it. As we sat there, it was apparent that the staff members were more interested in talking to each other and fooling around, then assisting their customers. Sorry McAlister’s, you just lost 2 customers due to your lack luster employees.

Haven’t been to the Conway McAlister’s in about a year. As I remember it was really good last time I was there. It really went downhill The sandwich was half the size it used to be and if I had to compare the taste I would say dirty dishwater
