This was my wife and I first time here. She heard about it from someone else and decided to do a date night. Upon entering the building, the DJ (DJ Moto) had it popping. Ms Dana or Diane, my apologies if I got your name incorrect, but she is a sweetheart. We had reservations and arrived a little earlier just in case it was traffic. She allowed us to be seated. Our waitress Cassie was very attentive and friendly. She checked on us often and cleaned up anything we emptied quickly. Now, let the chunky girl come out…The food and drinks were amazing! My wife had the Shrimp and Grits and a Ole Fashion… I had the Dee’s Secret and the Bayou Catfish. When I say chef’s kiss, that’s what I mean! I’ve had my fair share of Catfish and Dirty Rice, but this was phenomenal! So phenomenal I placed a To-Go order when we were done. I can’t wait to visit this establishment again, esonce the renovations are complete. 10/10 would definitely recommend! Be sure if you’re going as a group to do a reservation so they can accommodate you.

This place was recommended to me by someone from my Instagram. I stopped in before I went to the airport. I was visiting Houston for the weekend. I would definitely come back ! I went by myself. My server was so nice and attentive (the bartenders too). I had the red velvet chicken and waffles. I was not disappointed! Eventually a DJ came in, but their music selection is good without the DJ too. I’d come back for sure !

My first time at this facility, celebrating my bday. The atmosphere was great and the DJ played GREAT music! The staff was very friendly. While we were there, a staff member had a siezure & staff were very attentive to his needs. Great teamwork! My daughter & husband ordered chicken & waffles. The chicken was undercooked and the grease needed to be changed, but flavourful. The pork chops & grits were good. The shrimp & Crawfish etoufee was good! Additionally, the brunch punch was on point!

I really enjoyed my time at this establishment. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. The music added a nice touch and it was not “Metro Boomin” which was appreciated. The food was flavorful and delicious, can’t go wrong with fish and grits. Also it did not take long for them to bring out the food either.

I was so excited to take my bf out here because he loves Cajun food. He ordered the Gumbo and I had shrimp and grits and we both decided to share a red velvet chicken and waffle. The food was so basic. The gumbo tasted like it was made that morning and served much later on. Red velvet waffles really had no taste. They were just red lol. The chicken wasn’t greasy but tasted like grease. Idk how to explain it. It just wasn’t good at all. I was really disappointed. The mimosa was good. I believe we got charged for refills for every sprite my bf ordered which I had no idea since the waiter just brought them without asking us. Parking wasn’t bad because it wasn’t busy. But on a busy day I’m sure it would be inconvenient. The parking lot was for valet only. We had to park across the street and walk in. I was excited to give this place a try but tbh I don’t think I’ll return unless it’s a hookah and drinks only type of return. Maybe we just came on a bad day.

The restaurant was cozy and had a lot of great seating options. My waitress was really nice and checked on us often. Parking is $10 and there was an automatic 18% gratuity added to the check. But, the food was ok. I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was not seasoned well. I actually didn’t even eat all of my chicken. The vegetable spring rolls were really good. I’m not sure if I would go back again.

Me and a girlfriend came here for the first time last night (3/29/23) because I wanted to try some of their food and hear the R&B band. A band called Adrenaline Rush sounded pretty good, and the environment was very relaxing. We sat at the bar. Our bartender was very pleasant. We ordered the Voodoo Rolls appetizer, Salmon pasta, and Shrimp Basket for dinner and had Chardonnay and a Blackberry Whiskey Sour for drinks. Food was great. I’ll be back sometime again soon to try something else!

We stopped here while visiting Houston for the first time. Food was delicious, and the environment was very chill and inviting; chill New Orleans jazz vibe. Outstanding customer service. We had the voodoo egg rolls, (which has crawfish, shrimp, and andouille sausage in it), and the boudin sausage. I will definitely come back next time I visit Houston.
