Delicious and very authentic ramen just like what I’ve had in Japan. The broth on the Tan-Tan, Miso, and Tonkotsu ramens are super rich and delicious. The noodles are perfect and not mushy. The char su is generous and well seared. Perfect pairing with a beer or sake.

We came here on a really busy night and while the wait was long, the staff was accommodating but a little eager for us to eat and leave. They asked us for our orders within a minute of us sitting down and when we asked for a few more minutes, another waiter came thirty seconds later and asked us for our orders again. You could tell by the appearance of the dishes that the kitchen staff were rushed and that they didn’t really do the best on the presentation of the food. However, it was quite tasty which boosts my rating.

This was a great experience! I showed up with a third of my group and without calling ahead.

Food: Love that they have 5 vegan options. We got the tan tan vegan ramen (good, yummy sesame sauce) and the vegan ramen (pretty bland, missing toppings like okra). They went light on the portions of the toppings but the noodles were good. The tofu was also sliced very thin (unlike the photos). Overall prefer the spicy vegan ramen at Tanaka.

Busy restaurant, not easy to get a table during peak times. Recommend to book a table online. The food is delicious. We tried 2-3 appetisers and 3-4 mains over the two times we ate here. Would highly recommend the food here.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday. He picked the place so thanks him we got to try it! We enjoyed everything about it. The food, portion sizes, variety of choices, service, atmosphere, etc.

Ramen is one of the best foods of all time and this place was really good at making it. The chicken was plain boiled which was a slight disappointment but everything else was really good. I’d recommend it 100%

I’ll give it a 4…for Hawaii. Broth was ok and flavor really wasn’t that spicy. I ordered the spicy miso miso and a side of kimchi. I arrived just after 11am and it was packed with people waiting outside. I lived in Japan for 3 years so my opinion is bias. Portion size is smaller than normal, but it was the right amount for me. Parking stinks, so get a spot by Jamba (around the corner), and walk around. Awesome service and quick. I’ll give Onoya another shot.
