Last 4 visit has been terrible. They cannot make the drink correctly (new chip ice Carmel) this time they made two different drinks both disgusting and then they argued with me saying it was correct. When I asked for a refund they also was very rude. No more chance for them

Grew up going to Dairy Queen…love the food and always great service. This DQ is about 3 miles from my house. I used to go a couple of times a month, but to day was my last. The service has always been substandard, but today was the last straw. Walked in to get a mini blizzard because the drive thru was jammed up. Young lady with mad face grudgingly takes my order, doesn’t say hello or welcome nothing. I place my order. 15 minutes later, I walk up the front and say, any word on my blizzard? She says, “it sat out for 10 minutes so we’re re-blending it.” I ask who the manager is and she defiantly says, “I am!” No apology, no remorse just “here’s your blizzard” and a glare. I tell her customer service here is bad, and she says, “okay.”

The staff didn’t know what they were doing. I ordered a chocolate Malt the guy taking my order put it as a mocha Malt, the guy made a mocha Malt and was told it was supposed to be chocolate so he just added chocolate and mixed it. The Malt was so gross I couldn’t drink it.

I usually don’t leave reviews at fast food restaurants but I was really pleased with my visit tonight. Food was hot and fresh out of the grill/fryer and the sundae was delicious as well. The cashier was patient as I was indecisive on what to order. And Employees went the extra mile and brought our food right to our table. Also the restaurant was pretty clean.

On Saturday night after 9 pm the wife decides she wants a tasty treat (Chocolate Malt) from DQ. Since the Pelham location was already closed this left the Alabaster location as the closest one that is open late until 11 pm. When we arrived the drive thru was wrapped around the building and the lobby was crowded. We decided to split up and see who would be able to order the shake first. I stayed in the drive thru and my wife went inside to order. It was no contest as she won easily. It is probably better to be go inside and order rather than sitting in a long line wasting gas which is rather expensive right now.

On Sunday February 26, 2023 @3:05pm, my wife and I visited this store. As we often do on Sundays, and purchased 2 blizzards, and a sundae. I asked the cashier to place a sundae top on both blizzards. The Manager on duty stopped the associate, and she said to me “I tell my employees not to use sundae tops.” My reply to her, “the blizzard leaks and the sundae tops are better during the ride.” The mgr disagreed and offered a flat top and bag. I disagreed with her bag suggestion. I am a regular customer, and a sundae top has never been denied to me. My reply seemed to incense the mgr. She expressed to me this would be the last time and my request would not be honored during future vists. I’m really surprised that a restaurant whose vision states –
