I chose not to take pictures because it wouldn’t be very pleasant to see, but my partner and I had some chicken teriyaki (#5) which was extremely overcooked as it looked entirely black, and some shrimp with lobster sauce (#73) which tasted okay and had some flavor, despite slimy. We had some egg drop soup (#10) as well but it was very slimy and tasted spoiled, almost in a chemical type of manner, and we could not finish it. Despite overcooked, the chicken and shrimp were still edible and had SOME flavor, so I still would not reduce this establishment to the lowest rating. The person who was at the front desk was a very nice young Black male who insisted on saying my Chinese name right, so that made my take out experience relatively pleasant as well.

Definitely not the greatest in terms of flavor and texture. Significant other got a cashew chicken that had almost no cashews and as she had described, tasted like “toilet water”. Tasting it, it did have a very apparent flavor of tap water. I had ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, while the main rice portions had some flavor the chicken was flavorless, looked and felt like it had been sitting in the freezer for too long.

Amazing I ordered through doordash and holy ! The lo mein is absolutely delightful, with its comforting warmth, and the shrimp egg rolls are truly exceptional. I highly recommend trying them as the food was still extremely hot and satisfying.

Ordered no broccoli, got extra broccoli. Ordered extra garlic sauce, got little garlic sauce that tasted sweet not spicy. The chicken was rubbery and obviously reheated. The rice was clumped like it wasn’t stirred before serving. The staff was all teens looking at their phones and doing nothing else. Ate two bites and threw it in the trash. They advertised the lunch special at $5.99, charged me $11.00 for using a debit card. Stay away from this place and buy frozen at Cub instead.

I ordered chicken wings, 3 orders of them (about $40) , but you can tell they used wings that had sauce on them prior and just refried them to get it off but they tasted bad and salty with remnant of a sweet and sour sauce. Needless to say I will never order again.

This food was terrible. I order TSO general chicken and received Tao general breading. Virtually no chicken at all. What a rip off. This place should be ashamed to service the public. Don’t waste your time on a meal here.

This place sucks. I placed a very simple order, broccoli with garlic sauce. This dish comes with rice. They did not send the rice. I spoke with Michael, he spoke as if he wanted to make things right for the customer, he lied. However, when called back to get the order made right he wanted to acted like he didn’t say those words. He said, The delivery driver from DoorDash did something wrong. The food is in a brown paper stapled shut. This place sucks, no one should ever go there again. I just moved to Minneapolis and I know poor, unappreciative service when I experience it.

I’ve never been so disheartened with a restaurant. We used to love you guys. I knew better than to order online, but I was going to call to make sure the order came through. Based on the hours on the website 1030-1030, I called at 11 and was told call back at noon since they don’t open until noon on Wednesday. After calling at noon, I was hung up on. I tried again and went to voicemail. I now don’t have lunch and don’t even have time to get from somewhere else. Last time ordering from Hop Wong ever. Good luck.
