Not sure what’s different about this location, but something is off.

First time at this new location I have to say My experience from walking in to leaving out was Great The cashier Lydia was knowledgeable about what came on the patty melt, and helping me with redeeming my coupon on the Whataburger app and she relayed my order as I requested and she was fast ringing it in She also was very polite The cook did a good job cooking my burger it was nice and hot and tasted delicious Good teamwork but Lydia should get 5 stars in addition to the 5 stars above!!

Whataburger’s food never disappoints which is why I continue to eat there. But this location, for whatever reason, is the slowest location I’ve been to and I know many others will agree. No matter if I’m in the drive through, go inside or order ahead on the app, I’m always waiting longer than expected. Yesterday I ordered on the app because I knew I’d be waiting 20+ minutes otherwise and I was still left waiting at the front for my order when I got there. When I drove up, there was maybe 3-4 cars in the drive through, and only 1 couple inside already eating. I arrived 8 minutes after my order was supposed to be finished and was greeted politely. The gentleman even asked how much ice I wanted in my drinks, which I appreciate because everyone knows restaurants pile ice into their cups, and you get less of you’re actual drink. Besides that, I was stuck waiting inside for 10 minutes before actually receiving my food. I understand a longer wait time if you eat during peak hours, or if a location is low on staff for the day, but I’ve never had an experience with this location where I’m out in less than 10 minutes of pulling up. I’ve probably ordered from this location at different times of the day a dozen times or so, since its opened and can in fact say I’ve been deterred from ordering here more simply because of the wait time. This store is in a prime location (71st & U.S. 169) with tons of other competitors, and I feel is missing out on the opportunity to serve more people and make a lot more money. No hate to the staff, but hopefully someone from corporate comes down to train the staff to work more efficiently and effectively.

We happened upon this place on the day they did their Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting, … just after they cut the ribbon and we’re putting things away… lots of Whataburger Company bosses… and I mean that in a good way. I believe nearly everyone of them came by to ask his things were going… and in such a friendly fashion.

Came here for a quick bite. Lobby is open .the tea is very sweet , too sweet . The lobby is clean . Looking behind the counter the kitchen looks very clean. The bathrooms do need some attention. They look decent but may wish to really wipe the walls and the stalls etc.

Countless nights of trying to eat here with a newborn in the backseat plan on an hour wait ever single time. You’ll miss your kids feedings, putting your kids to bed ect. 40 minutes in the drive thru and nobody answered to help me but they helped the person in front of me and everyone else. Piss poor service every night.

Be prepared to wait a long time for a fast-food hamburger. Whoever is running/managing this location should be fired immediately. 40 minutes after order was placed to get food in drive through Saturday. Went inside today and 6 people in line when i arrived. Waited 10 minutes and no one came to the register to take orders. 4 different employees walked through the dining room and not one acknowledged the people In line. Inexcusable.

Greeted with Smile as I walked in the door. Ordering was a breeze. Food was hot and fresh and made correctly.

This location is usually pretty good about getting everything right, but they’re one of the slower locations in town. It doesn’t matter if the drive-thru is empty or full, it’s going to take some time to get your food.
