I don’t know why anyone would eat anywhere else in the St. Louis area. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had. I’d walk back here from Indiana to eat it! Buffet is spectacular. Amazing Mac and cheese, grilled bbq pork chops, chicken, veggies and other delicious finds! Oh, and the bread is phenomenal. It is served with special garlic butter that is out of this world. I rarely post reviews but Ravanellis is so amazing I can’t help myself. Get the buffet, you won’t be disappointed. Note: they list their buffet selections online but we were pleasantly surprised by the items they didn’t have listed online. Don’t hesitate, eat here!! weekends are $2 extra for buffet.

First time visiting this place. Had a wonderful waitress by the name of Kimberly. After finishing our soups a young female manager came over, asking if we had been waiting long (we had not) stating that our food was up and our waitress was subbing from another location and she would go prep our food and get it to us. All of this was said by the manager and with extreme frustration and a roll of the head. We then told her we were needing salads first. This frustrated her even more and she said she would get them right away. Our waitress came by and apologized to us. We made it very clear to her that we had not complained about our service but that the manager had initiated the contact with us. You could see the look of defeat on poor Kimberly’s face. At one point during our dinner we heard this same manager ask a table near us right after they were seated if Kimberly had obtained their drink orders…..which she had. We made it very clear to Kimberly and the young female manager both before we left how very pleased we were with Kimberly’s service. It just felt like this manager was trying very hard to find faults with Kimberly’s work. At this point we have no plans of returning to this establishment again because if this is how the management treats their staff, especially one who is coming from another location to help them out, we don’t want to patronize them.

We love this place, especially the chicken. We remember when they opened in 1964. Always outstanding food with just a few hiccups along the way. There is no other chicken to compare to their chicken. It is wonderful! My only complaint is that no one answers my emails or phone calls regarding the birthday club. There used to be one, maybe still is. We come from an hour away and would appreciate an answer as this has been our destination for birthdays for many years. Also we’re not getting notifications anymore.

The hostess Joyce is absolutely wonderful. What a great lunch! We enjoyed the buffet, and the fried chicken was incredible. Reasonable prices, great service, and they also honor our military. There was a line of uniformed military when I was there and they were treated with such respect, as they should be.

Went with my family. They were pretty busy and looked short staffed. I was right. Took longer than expected. Waitress kept apologizing. When we did get our food it was got and boy was it good ! Waitress once again apologized and said the manager would be by to see us. Well we never asked for him. He came up to our table apologized and even took care of us. I was more than please. Yes I’ve been here before and yes I’ll be back again !

Lots of tables so it’s a good place for meeting. Very large selection on the menu as well as a very large Buffet. The buffet had choices of chicken beef pork and several different vegetables so pretty well-rounded as well as salad and they even had a wonderful sugar-free dessert! Prices are very reasonable we had a party of three in our bill was $35 for us all to eat at the buffet.
