This was our first time trying firehouse subs and the food was fresh and delicious! I got the engineer sandwich which was so good! The staff was very friendly and professional. We came to this location as it was in close proximity to our hotel. I’m hoping to get similar service when we return back home to Pittsburgh, PA.

I was very impressed with this location, and wish it was the location that was close to me! The staff offered impeccable customer service! I came at the lunch hour, and the service was fast and friendly. They even added my last minute pickle request! The location was clean and the food was delicious. I tried their new Prime Rib sub today. I don’t like onions or mustard so I skipped those. It was a VERY SLOPPY sub and honestly I didn’t think the prime rib was all that good. it seems low quality, overcooked (at least mine was) and a lot of grizzly. Not getting another one. I liked the bread, pickle and the container it came in was solid (but you can’t eat that). I’ve read many other reviews. Some are 4-5 stars, many others 1-3. Seems like they have some work to do…

I placed a catering order for my employees this morning before they opened. Soon after I had to make some adjustments, I called and spoke to the manager and she was so kind and understanding and really went out of her way for me. I was so grateful that she didn’t give me any hassle. When I arrived to pick it up she even threw in tongs and plates and cups for me. I will definitely be doing this again.

To put it plainly, the sandwiches we were served were inedible. My partner’s was ice cold. I didn’t notice at first because mine was a veggie, but mine was as well. Couldn’t finish my second half. Had the meat sandwich remade, but I honestly should have just requested a refund. The second sandwich he received was warmER but the middle was still cold. Two inedible sandwiches and one we STILL had to take home and reheat. Unacceptable, especially considering I paid with a gift card..one heck of a gift.

I got 2 subs for my wife and i. We get home and there is hardly any meat on our sandwiches. It seemed like they were short on meat and were trying to stretch it. We had to eat other food because we were still hungry after because of the lack of meat on our sandwiches. This is a good reason of us not going back.
