Not much seating inside so I recommend reservations or coming early to get an indoor spot.

Words can’t describe the deliciousness at Lineage (but I’ll try). We tried the restaurant the first night on the island. Based on the recommendation of our (AMAZING, ATTENTIVE and COURTEOUS) server, Nick, we tried the oysters, the garlic noodles and of course the fried chicken. The food took us by surprise… the flavors were so intricate and complimentary. We are frequent dinners of fine establishments and this ranks up there with a Michelin experience.

We were fortunate enough to get in without a reservation on a Thursday. We loved the garlic noodles (ordered 2 plates…), poke, and fish of the day. Our server Tianna (apologize if spelling is incorrect) was very knowledgeable about the menu, and helpful with choosing our plates. Food is brought out as it is prepared, so everything was hot and fresh. Definitely recommend, especially if you’re at one of the nearby beach resorts.

One of the best beef I’ve ever tasted. I am Japanese, and I 100% recommend the Wagyu kalbi. The ahi poke and the upcountry farm salad were also very appetising. The waiters and waitresses were very helpful, accommodating us and explaining each meal/drink to us. 10/10!

A wonderful family dinner at Lineage with young kids. Our server, Tiana, was very friendly and on top of everything. We really enjoyed the poke and scallops to start. To share as a family, we had the Korean Chicken and the fried rice and a side of sautéed veggies. All were delicious. Chicken is very moist. We got one keiki grilled cheese the kids shared with the main shares. Definitely a lovely meal and would return.

One of our favorite meals in Hawaii! We sat at the bar and really enjoyed our experience. The bartender helped us pick both our food and drinks and did not steer us in the wrong direction once. For drinks we got the Pua Colada, Auntie Kine Tings (this was the standout!), and a Moon on the Sea. To eat we had the Lion’s Mane mushroom salad, the wagyu kalbi short rib, the garlic szechuan noodles, and the pandan bread pudding. Everything was absolutely delicious, but somehow the bread pudding is the thing we’re still talking about! Would definitely return to Lineage if we ever came back to Maui.

When it comes to the best restaurant in Maui, Lineage will forever be in a battle with its friendly rival. (Mama’s Fish House). I think it is a lot closer than most tend to believe. The service is a tie and the atmosphere is great at Lineage but Mama’s is on the water. So can Lineage surpass them in food. Not an easy task but I will call it a tie again. Which means if the dinks are better at Lineage, they have reached the pinnacle. This is again too close to call. (Tie). You know where Lineage wins? The whiskey list is one of the best I have seen anywhere. They definitely win with the likes of Pappy, Kentucky Owl, Old Fitz, Boss Hog Whistlepig, and many others. Don’t sleep on Lineage. Deserves its place right along side the best.

Lineage does it again and always. We went to celebrate my birthday and we’re treated so exceptionally well and the food was phenomenal as alway. We shared the oysters and a anjimoto eggs for appetizers. Both can’t be beat. For our main course we had the Korean friend chicken, garlic noodles, and the Kampachi. For dessert we had ice cream and bread pudding. Lineage is an amazing spot in maui and from having been there numerous times we can tell they take pride in the food and service and they must take excellent care of their staff as we continue to see many of the same friendly faces year after year. Thank you so very much.
