I don’t think I’ve ever been to this location and had a good experience. Missing items, wrong items in bag, up to 30 minutes in the drive through line of 3 people, told they weren’t taking orders but once said I had a mobile they were magically able to make?, fries half full, greeted at drive through with “what’chu need” in a fun accent, drive through Coke machine has syrup turned down way too low usually undrinkable, no napkins in bag, condiments selected in mobile app never included… I like Wendy’s so I keep trying but in 10 attempts over the past year I’ve been happy 0 times.

Came in for a quick bit. Got the chix sandwich combo. Got food in good time. I set down and take a bite of the sandwich. It’s cold, really cold. Go to see if I can get another. They go to get one out the hot box. All of the food in the hot boxes were off . As in no power to the unit. Had been off all day. In short, if you got food today, it was cold . Oh, and to fix my problem, he grabbed a cold chix breast out of cold hot box and put into fryer. Witch turned the poor chix breast into a grease sandwich. Mmmmmmm. See why you have a 2½ star rating. Want be back. Had plenty of help. 9 people on shift. Store looked good. it’s new.. when you make a mistake, don’t stand in the front of the store with all the staff joking and laughing. To the point I could hear yall across the store. As the Manger and her staff laugh I eat a once cold sandwich that’s now a grease sponge. Wendy’s please train your staff better. It’s a shame a new store can not do any better than this. I try to leave good post, but wow.

I worked at this location for about 2 months, and it was the worst job I’ve ever had. When I started, I was supposed to receive 8 hours of paid training videos that the general manager, Robert Bridges, would not let me watch. Instead, he placed me alone on a station & sent me home when I couldn’t do it. He refused to give me any training & sent me home every night I came in for the first week of my employment. When I had finally worked a full shift, we had 4 staff members including myself, there should be 8-10. In my second week, several staff members, including me, got food poisoning because the GM was serving 2 week old expired meat to his customers & staff. When his staff caught it, he had served at least 100 tainted patties to customers & staff. His response? “Cook it, chop it up, and put it in the chili.” All upper management had to say about the incident was “I’ll look into it” – which of course no one ever did. The store is never stocked on product because the GM is not competent enough to fulfill truck orders. After several truck orders having way less product than we needed on them, the GM finally came into the store & counted inventory. He was supposed to have done it over a week prior while working, but chose to come in at 6:30pm (dinner rush) on a day he had off, & he brought 5 of his 12 young children with him. The managers were pulled away from their jobs, while the store was actively open & serving customers, to come babysit his toddlers while he counted inventory. These are 3 & 4 year old children running around in the back of a restaurant with hot bacon pans, ovens, fryers, grills, etc. After he placed this truck order, he refused to fill out anymore, so the restaurant gets repeated “ghost orders” for every truck. This means the freezer is full to the brim with fries & nuggets that will expire before getting the chance to be sold, while the store is operating without any large cups/straws/medium fry containers etc. He regularly leaves work early because he “can’t find a babysitter” etc, and he absolutely refuses communication if he isn’t at the store. He manages the store through cameras & communication with his employees through one specific manager, a manager that gets 25+ hours of overtime weekly because he takes advantage of her every time he doesn’t want to come in or wants to leave early. He overworks all of the minors he has employed, including several 17 year olds making 10+ hours of overtime every week, because he refuses to hire anyone, because he has to train them. This restaurant is absolutely disgusting under his management. The frosty machines should be disassembled & cleaned every night, but the first time I did, the O-rings inside of the machine were covered in rotten milk from where they hadn’t been taken apart in so long. The fryer pads go up to 60+ hours without being changed when they should be changed every 12 to produce a quality product. The dishes are pushed through a poor dishwasher & usually put on the drying racks with food remains still in them to be used the next day – & they never get cleaned again, they just serve the next day’s product in the dirty dishes. He started accusing his entire night shift of “stealing product & money” & told us that we couldn’t eat at work until he figured out where the product was going. The “missing product & money” was himself fraudulently ringing up a dozen “biggie bag” orders every night as the “employee meals” that he wouldn’t let us have, so the count was always going to be wrong. He also immediately rings up triple burgers for any sandwiches that customers don’t specify as singles or doubles to “boost profits.” (AKA: to get more money out of you before you notice.) Overall, this store will never function properly under Robert Bridges. I would recommend driving the extra 15 minutes to Merrimon if you need Wendy’s, or just picking another place to stop to eat, because a trip to Weaverville Wendys will only leave you with disappointment & disgust, and very possibly food poisoning under this man’s negligence.

I should have known better than to give this place another try. My visit about a month ago was about the same as some of these other reviews I have read, waited forever and rude and inattentive staff. Thought I’d try it again today and when I pulled up someone said I’ll be with you in a minute. I waited and waited and finally after at least 5 minutes said hello hello hello into the intercom and had someone else come on and take my order. There was only one car in front of me sitting at the window at the time. When that car finally left I pulled up and there were three employees standing around talking to each other. I asked if I could add a small frosty to my order while I was waiting and she informed me I would have to go through the drive-thru window again so of course I was absolutely not going to do that. To make matters worse they continued to stand around and talk while I was waiting for my food to be ready. From what I understand drinks are the biggest money makers for fast food establishments and something that would have taken her 30 seconds to prepare she refused to do. I predict this place will be out of business soon, but of course there will probably be enough unwitting tourists staying at the hotel next door to keep it in business for a while. The manager must be the absolute worst to allow this behavior to keep happening

Who is in charge of this Wendy’s?? What a mess! Drive up computer down parked & waited inside for over 10 minutes for one of the 6 employees to take my order. Asked for a large choc. Frosty I was told they had no choc. Powder so no frosty. This is not the first time they were out of items. This is the last time for me – you lost my business. Whoever is charge should be ashamed with no pride in your authority.

I am angry and disappointed. I have been a customer almost since they opened. I rarely had a complaint and would just shrug things off as mistakes were extremely rare. The last few months and in particular the last few weeks, 100% of my orders were wrong. I just was not going to accept the order this time. Usually I find out when a few miles down the road, but tonight I checked my order at the window. Of course it was wrong. I order one of two sandwiches religiously. Dave’s double and the #7 double. Period. I always say no Mayo. Always. The last 5-6 had Mayo. Tonight I order #7 double no Mayo. I got a single switch Mayo. I promptly returned everything. The young man at the window lied to the manager and said I ordered a single. I countered that immediately. Last Sunday I ordered a Dave’s double no Mayo. The young girl said they don’t put Mayo on those at all. Down the road, I had a single with barbecue sauce and bacon. It was disgusting. Before that 3 orders all handled by the same young girl and whoever was in the back came out with Mayo. I ordered one of the same two as always and Dave’s double had Mayo every time. I don’t mind scraping it off once. Every time? I speak clearly. They also repeat it back, except for tonight. I gave also been served two pretzel bun burgers with deep fried crumbs. Another disgusting sandwich. One night a male manager took my order and the guy working the counter said pretzel burger? The manager just said no. He seems nice and I like the dark haired woman manager from tonight. You have a gang stalker problem. Our town and region is saturated with gang stalkers who think the targets are terrorists. They are usually innocent women, older and disabled. Anything to make a second income during working the primary job, like Wendy’s. I won’t be back. This is more than harassment and far from innocent. It is an insidious crime 24/7 for the victim. It is a crime. I had hoped this would be the one place I could get a break from cooking at home. Nope.

Absolutely the worst restaurant in weaverville. Workers are beyond incompetent, order is NEVER right and all of the employees are to lazy to properly do their jobs. I had to give my order back 3 times before they finally got it right, bread is always soggy for some reason, frosticinnos are just water with a hint of coffee pretty much, and they don’t understand what extra vanilla means at all. Pay 1$ for a side of pickles and get 2 pickles in a cup, drinks are never even filled up all the way, fries are always cold. I understand people have bad days, but this is every single time I try to eat there, there’s no excuse for the poor quality of the food especially with the time we have to wait for it. Needs shut down if they don’t have the workers to keep it run properly.

Pretty disappointing example of food service. Wrong build, no bacon, no cheese, no nothing. Just a singular piece of wilted brown lettuce.

I decided to visit the Wendy’s in Weaverville since it is close to my work. I have always loved Wendy’s chilly so of course that was what I ordered. The service was slow but I had plenty of time before I had to be at work. But when I parked to eat the container of chilly was COLD. I mean not just warm but cold. I took it back into the restaurant and complained and asked the associate to feel the container. She shrugged and told another guy and he just looked at me also shrugged and told yet another guy who finally came up to me, felt the container and said “oh well ” turn around, poured another container, took it around the work station corner to put cheese on it . He and the first guy I talked to looked at it and just laughed. Brought the new container to me, side of the container had spillage of chilly on it that they didn’t bother to wipe and said ” will that be all”? No apologies or remorse at the poor service. The new container was at least hot but not even close to the quality I had tried at other locations. Won’t be back and after this experience probably will never go to any Wendy’s again. Big disappointment!!!!! Ya’ll sucked.

I agree with the other comments about rudness and just plain lack of common sense here. Undoubtedly this place needs a complete overhaul. The mobile app never works here! The freestyle machine was out of EVERY diet drink! Had to have filled at counter. When told about how the mobile app kept telling us this wasn’t available and that wasn’t available, their response was “I don’t know anything about the app.” Obviously no one there knows much about anything! This relatively new restaurant could be so much better with the correct leadership. Until such time, we won’t be back.
