Came for happy hour. Had a great time. The interior is nicely designed. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The happy hour menu is reasonable with tasty snacks and good drinks. The salmon dip was amazing! Came with chunks of salmon and plenty to dip. The fries were thick and chunky which were great!

There are not enough words to say how much I appreciated the service I received at The Wayward! We came in after a long day of traveling to find out that the restaurant had been partially reserved. The manager took care of us, giving us a private table to eat at, some free appetizers, and impeccable service. This was such a great experience I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. The food was great. I especially enjoyed the salmon.

This was such a great experience. Service was on point. Music was great and the drinks delivered the perfect combination of taste and alcohol. The food was delicious and so was dessert. I would eat here everyday of the week if I lived in Philadelphia. 10 out of 10.

Great atmosphere. Brunch was delicious and our server Hannah was very polite. Will come back for more. I had the 2 eggs and chicken apple sausage with wheat toast and greens.

Celebrated my dad’s birthday here and it was so lovely. We made a reservation a day in advance and got to sit outside where the decor was beautiful and we felt a lot more spaced out. We went on a Tuesday so it wasn’t too crowded. The entrance is a little hidden so we walked past it at first. Everyone who helped us (hostess, server, people who brought out our food, etc) was so friendly. I ordered the wayward burger and it was cooked perfectly. The rest of my family got the salmon, the braised short ribs, and the duck confit and everyone loved their food. We also ordered the corn beignets which were crunchy and came with a tangy sauce. It is a little pricey so would recommend coming here to celebrate a special occasion. The ambiance is nice and the food is wonderful

Inviting bar and lounge with an eclectic cocktail menu. Recs from the bar tender are always a plus for me. Swift service, good vibes, reasonable prices.

The Mac and cheese cheese was terrible, NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER, the lobster was alright but it looked like the inside (the feces) had not been cleaned before it being cooked which completely threw me off, it was all looks.

Service is OK, even though the waiter was hovering constantly and removed appetizer plates while people were still eating. Food (main dishes), though, is mediocre at best and overpriced. Desserts and cocktails were great.

Nice vibes, bland menu, but really terrible hostesses. They pretend to be busy at 5pm staring at the reservations and won’t acknowledge you. Your party must be fully present to be seated, which is standard and is fair. But the restaurant was empty except for one table. Doesn’t matter because they had “high occupancy.” The place never got full. Just really poor service for two hostesses on a Saturday night to be unattentive in an empty restaurant. Would have given this place a second chance but the hostesses left a poor taste. Servers were nice though.

The bathroom was gorgeous and the appetizers were edible and came in small portions, we came during covid and a thunderstorm, the staff was still adjusting to outdoor dining protocols and was mixed with incredibly polite and incredibly rude individuals. The interior restaurant is really stunning and the bathrooms have gold mosaics and stunning light fixtures. The exterior space is very basic and lacks the romance of the interior restaurant. I’ll return post covid to get a more accurate idea of weather or not I like this place.
