Came here for dinner a few weeks ago. It was so nice to sit out by the water, great location. For our appetizer we got the meatballs and they weren’t our favorite, they have a uniquely sweet flavor. Our entrees were both delicious though, the swordfish & the steak but, the veggies with the steak were a bit undercooked. Drinks were great & we had a fabulous waitress.

Our experience was very poor. Loud, very limited menu, bartender taking so many shots with the bar, waited 35 minutes for a cold partial waffle and chicken. 1/5 will not be back, the rest of my party was disappointed.

Everything we had was amazing! Even down to the octopus! I’ve had octopus at many different restaurants and this place makes it soooo good! We had the corn soup, the octopus, shrimp and mussel pasta, the wagyu beef, strawberry shortcake dessert and also the sticky toffee cake dessert (we ordered a second round of this one because it was so freaking good!!) and the housemade pineapple ice cream. This place rocks! Will definitely be coming back!

Our server was lovely and attentive. The outdoor seating area was very pretty. Based on the menu descriptions and prices I expected the food to have more flavor. The seasoning was lacking and the many dishes we ordered were not memorable.

The food is not as good as the price reflects. I got the salmon special and it sat on a bed of barley with no seasoning or sauce on the barley at all. The salmon was also “blackened” but was lacking flavor. The radish & burrata starter was also very underwhelming. The portion of burrata was very small and same for the radish. It was mostly arugula. This all being said, the atmosphere and service was great! The cocktails and wine list were also lovely!

We ordered cocktails and the octopus as an hors d’oeuvre. The octopus was not very good compared to MDRD. It was not cooked well. It was not tender and had a gooey texture in some spots. It was also very small compared to MDRD, MDRD usually has 2 tentacles, Linear only has 1 small one.

An excellent Sunday dinner. Well-flavored and excellently conceived food from appetizer to dessert. Everything cooked to perfection and just the right portion sizes to be able to enjoy an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Excellent happy hour specials. Exceptionally reasonable prices for the quality. Can’t wait to go back for the weekend brunch and sit on the patio on the river come spring.
