A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. Horrible customer service food was prepared poorly incomplete order. When we called the store to talk to a manager was greated with a nasty attitude from the employee who also had a nasty attitude in the drive through window. When trying to explain the situation and issues the employee had a nonchalant attitude with limited to no care. And when i called back to ask for the manager after a brief argument. She answered again and after telling me the managers name and proceeded to argue with me again .

My Fiancé and I eat here all the time. We have never had the kind of experience that we had today. The chick in the drive thru seemed if she had a bad attitude (like maybe she was have maybe she was having a bad day) we ordered 2 giant fish Sandwich meals. We got to the window. To be greeted by drive thru employee (Old er white woman) yelling “Don’t be Complaining” to another employee in the back and then hands us our drinks. A few minutes later a Black female employee came to the window and politely asked us what we ordered, while doing that one of the employees threw food at her. I don’t know what’s going on in that place but it shouldn’t carry out to the customers. Our food was terrible we received 2 sandwiches but no fries, one as had 2 top buns the other had 2 bottoms with tartar sauce all over the sandwich very sloppy and cold. We proceeded to call the store to see how we could fix this just to get yelled and by the same older white chick from the drive thru. We will not be coming back to this store.

I come to this location all the time and I never experienced what I have experienced today. First of all I ordered a fish and fry and I only got one piece of fish and my hush puppies were burnt and very small. I took my food back after realizing my food was wrong and had to wait in the drive thru line again waiting at least 20 minutes before getting to the intercom because they had the front door lobby closed and doors were locked at 1:04pm in the afternoon. When I got to the window. A lady named Denise claimed she was a manager was very rude unprofessional and disrespectful. Yes I ate SOME of my fries while waiting in this long drive thru line for at least 20 minutes and I kindly asked Denise if I could get more fries for the inconvenience while she threw away the rest of the fries I haven’t eaten yet. She rudely refused to give me more fries as I was very hungry and had to wait long in the drive thru line. I noticed her nasty hateful response and I asked her ‘Are you serious???!!!’ she repeated back the question I asked her in a very rude sarcastic manner so I asked to speak to a manager she claimed she was the manager on shift and was the only manager there. So I asked her for a corporate number and her name.. she gave me a invalid email printed on a piece of paper. So I googled the correct email waiting on a response and now I’m here giving my review. She yelled at me after asking her for a corporate number she claimed Caption D’s doesn’t have. I come to this location all the time at least 2 times a week and I never experienced what I have experienced today and I have never seen this lady ever before. She needs to be removed from working here at all and she certainly shouldn’t be a manager treating guests this way. Her whole attitude was very unprofessional very rude and very disrespectful and if I see her working at this location again I will take further steps in getting her gone.

You have a very serious problem here. Multiple customers have left very consistent and negative reviews. The entire staff needs to be reviewed, and probably replaced. The store performs very poorly! I love the brand, but my last four orders have been completely and totally subpar. At this point I’m officially done with this location. Honestly, I really hate that I can no longer order from here.. I love Captain D’s, but your staff and employees I have ruined the experience for me and so many others! Look at the comments look at the reviews, you have a serious serious problem. I’ll most likely never order from here again. I hope things change. I just won’t be around to see if they do.

Food was fine and the employees were fine, but can we please talk about how dirty that place is? Floor looked like it hasn’t been swept in forever. Walls need cleaning and the bathroom (men’s) was no better. The bathroom doors really need paint. Reminded me of a NY city subway ♂️

I came inside to dine in. There was an older woman working drive thru. No one acknowledged me at the front counter for about 5 to 10 minutes. I ordered the grilled fish combo, waited another 10 minutes. She gave me country fried fish. I politely told her I had ordered the grilled fish. She gave me a lot of attitude and said – No you didn’t. I said yes I did and she continued to argue with me until I said I didn’t come here for attitude and that I wanted a refund. No one came to give me a refund and instead told me to wait for the grilled fish. I waited 10 minutes or so and finally got my order…. I order this meal at least once a week in Etown with zero problems. I was in Louisville today and stopped at this location for the first time, which will also be my last. I used to work in the food business and this is not the way to treat customers. I was above and beyond friendly with this lady, saying Sorry you’re working the front register and the drive through. She said she only had to do both until 12:30. I was patient about the long wait, but I won’t take bad attitude from your employees. After giving me attitude I could hear her laughing and having fun with the other employees. So I guess the customers are the only ones who get the bad attitude.

No place to park,, No signs informing that online orders have to be picked up inside,, when I FINALLY found parking and was FINALLY acknowledged when entering,, it was very loudly whispered that my attitude must have been because I was hungry!! Then they forgot my drink and didn’t give ANY sauce with my order!! I will NOT return!! EVER!!
