I’ve never seen a to-go Hibachi drive thru. I was curious. After having it, my curiosity was satiated and I don’t think I’ll return. The food was okay, but I think I’d prefer it not from a drive thru. The sauce was also a little strange.

My boyfriend and I went there for lunch today and were very impressed! We got the lunch specials, spicy tuna sushi rolls and spring rolls. We were very happy by how large the serving size of everything was, especially for the price! The service was quick and the restaurant was clean. We will be going back again!!

First of all, we are ALL in love with Hibachi. The MAIN thing I love about this place is the fact that their chicken is moist and easy to chew. Not touch, chewy and little taste. They have sweet carrots. Fried rice is amazingly spiced, as all goods are. Broccoli- zucchini are not crunchy- yay. It’s great to eat without hesitation. THERES ALSO DESSERTS!!!

This is the best hibachi in Wilmington. Check out to lunch specials as they are the best price $6.49!!! Friday is my favorite with chicken and steak, but Tuesday is excellent… with steak and mushroom!!! of course the sweet and spicy chicken on Thursday is really tasty. Top quality hibachi at amazing prices!

Don’t eat the fried rice. The rice smelled and taste like sewage. Drove all the way back to store to be told it was my fault or the city waters fault everyone else’s except the person to cheap to throw away old rice. Also tried to say we ate half the plate when my mother in law took one bite and spit it out again they shorted us rice but our fault they shorted us rice. Just don’t the owner is not a good person obviously because when I got upset at her worker when it was my fault they served us bad rice she jumped in to tell me again it was my fault they shorted us on fried rice and they don’t serve bad food.

I ordered the steak & chicken combo today, which is listed on the menu as $10.89. So when my total came to $13.xx I was scratching my head. They informed me that the price increased to $11.89 and did not honor the listed price. The math still doesn’t add up because even at $11.89 + 7% tax that would put the total at $12.72. My total was $13.xx and that discrepancy was explained by a surcharge for paying with a credit card. I am giving a three star rating because the food is pretty good and at the end of the day, this experience will be a net positive for me. Hibachi to Go is not the only restaurant in town that is charging BS fees, but it is the one that broke the camel’s back. From this day forward, I will be packing my lunch every day. Not only will this help my budget, but it will improve my dietary choices and overall health. So I guess thank you for providing this bad experience and lighting a fire under me to stop eating out for lunch.

2 days ago, my wife and I had to make a choice as to what to do for “Lunner” (about 3-ish) and her very first suggestion was Hibachi To Go. I have only eaten at Hibachi To Go once before, in the past 2 years. I remember the first experience not being the best experience nor did I conduct a review and I honestly wasn’t blogging nearly as much as I do today. Usually, my wife and I will go round and round attempting to meet somewhere in the middle on where and what to eat. She’s picky. I am not. :). At times, this becomes so agitating; I believe anyone reading this can empathize with me. But her first suggestion had me intrigued, so I agreed. The call was made. The order was placed, I pulled up 17 mins later and this is my take on the 2nd visit.

Great service, foods great, my only complaint was tonight I had a mushroom that roots and nasty grit left on it , kinda grossed me out to finish my dinner …. But I’ve always had great food before and the service is always top notch , hopefully just a blip we all make them….

Precovid I was a regular drive thru orderer, I went back yesterday and got a Big Hibachi Steak Salad with my order to bring to lunch today. There is zero bell pepper and zero avocado on it which really changes the salad. Disappointing
