Cute, colorful restaurant in Lambertville,NJ. Mexican/Peruvian food, looks like a family run business. Plenty of outdoor seating, BYOB and excellent food. I asked the server for her recommendation and ordered what she suggested. Not disappointed at all!

We really enjoy the place and my husband was in Peru and had the same dish he ordered in this restaurant and he really liked it! All was fast and really great! We were outside because we have our doggy with us. We asked for water for him so he enjoyed time under the bench and umbrella 🙂 we ordered: TOSTONES AND GUACAMOLE, AJI DE GALLINA BOWL (for my husband) and CHICKEN ANTICUCHERO BOWL (for me) plus MARACUYA drink and PRICKLY PEAR LEMONADE drink plus desert (guess what -) picture attached ) Sadly we live far away in jersey shore and cannot go there so often as we wish but definitely will come back !! Plus if you want to avoid crowds- the best place in very quiet neighborhood and no line and no nose! I am sure locals like this place!

I had super high expectations for the food and left very disappointed. I’m peruvian and I have been living in NJ for a while. To start, this is the most expensive restaurant I have been here in the us. 36 dollars for a main dish seemed a little bit excessive for me.. The presentation was beautiful but the food itself didn’t taste delicious as it should be, considering also the price. My friend ordered a ceviche and the fish was bad. The highlight is that the service was excellent! They took his plate and offered to change it. Drinks were fine, the chicha morada just didn’t taste like chicha morada but it was good. We alao got lamb and tacutacu, it was too salty. The causa was fine, but the worst of all the Peruvian restaurants we have been in here, and also the most expensive. So, idk, I wouldn’t root for the peruvian menu of this restaurant, maybe the mexican menu is better.

get ready to be rip-off by this restaurant. $34 for a Lomo???, no even in NYC charge that kind of money and the quality is just average. Make sure to check the price first, they will show you one menu with average prices but then, when you ask for the check, they will charge you a different price…totally scam.

I wish I had read some of the accurate, negative reviews before attending this place. I checked their online menu before arriving knowing what I would be ordering. Once doing so I was given an outstanding $67 charge for just 3 items off of their LUNCH menu. I showed the host their online prices and she stated they had recently updated their prices, you would think that their online site would reflect that too. I’m Hispanic and peruvian food is one of my favorite cuisines and hard to come across in the central Jersey area so I opted for just two of the dishes instead of 3, still $39 . I had a 25 minute ride home so I didn’t try before hand but their to go container gave me a sneak peak of the food and after paying that amount for 2 lunch meals I knew it wouldn’t be worth the hype. I got home and low and behold I wasn’t mistaken. The food lacked flavor, was bland and the actual shrimp in the ceviche were smelly, not seafood smelly but going bad smelly. The tostone, or fried plantain was just one dried up, piece that was obviously made hours before and not to order. I tried my best to palate as much as I could but the food was gross. Overpriced, false pricing and to boot not tasty. Their food isn’t catered towards authentic Peruvian dishes but rather watered down to suit the locals and people that visit that don’t have knowledge of what real Peruvian food should be. I’d pass and recommend others do to, they cut corners bc I would imagine the location is expensive but it shouldn’t come at the cost of the taste or quality of the food.
