Tongy’s never disappoints! It has become our Go-Too Burger Bar. Absolutely the Best Burgers in Myrtle Beach! Our waitress, the beautiful Miss “T” is amazing. She serves us each week with her gorgeous smile & bubbly personality. We’ve been to Tongy’s so often, T knows exactly what we want & how we want it cooked. Can’t get a better meal for a cheaper price anywhere! Their Happy Hour prices are unbeatable!

Sunday lunch got us stopping at this college sports bar located in a strip mall. At first glance, we weren’t certain if it was open and/or still in business. Exterior has darkened windows that give the impression that the place is empty. Once inside, we found an open floor plan with a cement floor, industrial look with exposed ductwork overhead, bar, pool tables, flat screen TVs and a small bandstand. The norm for any bar and grill. Furnishings had seen their better days as padded high chairs were ripped and torn, batting exposed, table tops scratched and worn. But overall, the place seemed clean. Bathrooms are not for the faint of heart. Menu offers a better selection of pub grub with unique names and descriptions for appetizers, sandwiches, wraps and burgers. Our “ROGUE TACOS” came with the following tagline: “These tacos, like JAWS swim alone, 3 fish tacos with beer battered fish, pico de gallo, lettuce, and cheese. Topped with a chipotle lime drizzle served inside warm flour tortillas. Feel free to substitute shrimp. Dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun dun dun-dun-dun.” We were more than happy with the ample amount of grilled fish in each, topped with flavorful, fresh ingredients and nicely presented with two sauces and a side. Our side of mac was cheesy, creamy with larger size elbow macaroni. Menu prices are more than reasonable and if are looking for good food over ambiance-well, just to remind you this is a sports bar.

Great food, burgers, wings and buffalo dip! Prices are very low, especially for eat in lunch! prices and friendly service. It is a bar, so there is always that element, but no smoke smell when you go in! Which is a plus for me! Highly reccommend!

The experience was great, I went for some drinks with my friends on St. Patrick’s Day and the atmosphere was great. The bartenders were really busy but they were quick about everything and I never had to wait too long for anything I ordered. They include an automatic 18% gratuity on your bill which in total was around $102 dollars. I’m in the service industry myself and I was on spring break so I was a bit generous and gave them $125 in cash which is over a 40% tip. I felt good with my experience and I left happy that night. The issues arise when approximately 24 hours later, I receive a charge on my card for $102. I thought that was peculiar considering I paid in cash but I presumed it was just a hold since it didn’t actually take any money out of my account. Then this morning the charge went through and so I called the restaurant to see if this could be sorted out. I spoke to the manager Erica several times and she couldn’t have been less helpful. She was rude, hung up the phone multiple times and told me that there was no way the mistake could have been on her/the restaurants end. I pleaded with her to see if she could find my tab but she said it was impossible with the amount of transactions that occur at the restaurant. I’m still in school and I work a full time job on top of school in order to make ends meet with loans and rent. 100 dollars might not seem like the biggest deal but it’s a huge deal to me and now it’s just gone and there’s nothing they can do because they’re too lazy. I hope the bartenders enjoyed the $125 dollar tip that I apparently left. I will never be returning and I will make sure that all of my friends that go to coastal are aware of the treatment that I got from management. First time I’ve ever felt the need to leave a negative review for a restaurant and that’s saying a lot considering I stand by the people in the service industry and understand that things happen. Just disgusted with the whole ordeal.

Truly a diamond in the rough great food, great prices. Could use a renovation on the inside but other than that I have no complaints. Would definitely go here more regularly if it wasn’t a two and a half hour drive.

Regan was absolutely the sweetest person! We were there for a college tour for my daughter, Raegan, and she was so welcoming and talked to her a lot about Coastal. Several other students were there and all came up and talked. We are so glad we decided to eat there! Great place!

Food was gross and our server wasn’t friendly. I don’t expect great food at a college bar, but it should at least be edible. My burger had a burnt bun, the meat was cooked in some spots but underdone in others, and the worst part was that it tasted fishy. I managed to tolerate half of the burger in the restaurant, but when I got home and tried to reheat and eat the other half, it was so greasy and fishy that I couldn’t even smell it without gagging so I had to throw it out. Spent $12 on half of a disgusting burger, cold/bland fries, and mediocre service.
