We love coming to My Cousin’s. The staff are always accommodating and pleasant. How wonderful to see smiles on their faces. They truly enjoy their work.

Exceptional- these guys know how to cook. Very good food and great service. Cute spot also. Brunch is equally special on Sundays.

We went for Sunday Brunch and it was the absolute best meal ever! Truly the best avocado toast I have ever had and each of the others at our table had incredible meals as well. From Eggs Florentine to Challah French toast a Frittata and pancakes- all perfection! Service was incredibly accommodating and kind and I only wish I lived closer so I could eat here all the time!

First time coming here and definitely won’t be the last! The wait staff and owner were very attentive and so pleasant and the food was delicious! Meatballs, Caesar salad, buratta salad and Sis’ Favorite pasta did not disappoint. Love having this new spot in town and can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

Outstanding food and cocktails. Service is just about excellent. I’ve been here quite a few times and have yet to have a disappointing experience (other than a guttural “disagreement” with the ahi tuna). However, it’s expensive. Like, Manhattan restaurant expensive, so keep that in mind.

We were on our way to George’s place for breakfast but they were closed for vacation so we decided to go to Barnwood Grill . However, we noticed on Route 6 a sign “Open for brunch” at My Cousin. We googled the review on them so we decided to try it. A very nice restaurant and staff were attentive . Coffee was pretty good. Mimosas all you can drink for 2 hours for $24 which was a pretty good deal but we didn’t do that, too early for alcohol. We ordered frittata and corned beef hash for breakfast . Both dishes were served on a skillet. We are not home fries fan and they replaced them with spinach. That’s really nice. The only disappointment was the corned beef hash which wasn’t homemade. It’s gross as I can taste gazillion sodium on it. The restaurant presents itself as upscale so didn’t expect it to serve canned corned beef hash. Overall experience was good so we will come back if we are in the area. Server noticed that I didn’t touch my food and was sorry that he failed to mention that corned beef hash wasn’t homemade. Anyway, Frittata was delicious. So for beef hash, go ahead to Barnwood grill.

Visited for Valentines Day and enjoyed a wonderful meal. We selected from the specials. The pics below are mushroom ravioli in truffle sauce, veal osso buco, cucumber salad and the cocktail is named The Broker.

Lettuce in the wedge salad was not fresh. Lobster tail was overcooked. Waiter put a miscellaneous charge on the bill and when I called it out, he was not apologetic and seemed like he was aware he overcharged. Tables way too close together. Table for 2 small barely big enough for menus and dishes. They add the credit card fee to the bill which was not mentioned by anyone or listed on the menu.

Let me start by saying that after moving to Mahopac, almost 10 years ago, I can finally say I found a restaurant that is my absolute favorite, not only in Mahopac, but possibly ever! The food was outstanding, from the beginning with the delicious appetizers to the wonderful desert at the end. The owner/host was the most personable and helpful that I’ve ever come across. Our waitress, Mary, who has only been a waitress for two years, seemed like she’s been doing it for 20 years.
