I placed an order the day before for pickup in the evening at a specific time. When I went to pickup my order, they stated they had run out of bread. I could cancel my order or wait 50 minutes. I couldn’t wait 50 minutes, so I was forced to come up with another option. How does a sandwich shop run out of bread?!?!

I live in South Dakota, and was visiting my son, and his family here in Beavercreek, Ohio. About 9 PM he took me to one of my favorite places to eat, Jimmy John’s!! This place made my sandwich even better than they do back home in South Dakota! It had just the right amount of pepper and salt added to a delicious roast beef and cheese sandwich with extra mayo, and I can’t say enough about how good it tasted! Made by a female employee, who did an awesome job! Way to go, Jimmy John’s!!!

Third time now in the last couple months that we’ve placed an order for delivery only for it to be cancelled. The first two times we received phone calls letting us know there was no driver, but this last time I only received an email 15 minutes later (luckily I checked) stating my order was cancelled for no reason. Attempted to call the store 5 times after that to see if there was an issue with my payment method, but got no answer. Drove to the store shortly after to order in person only for there to be a hand written sign hanging on the door that says closed. Online ordering should not be available if the order is just going to be cancelled. Now my funds are going to be on hold for the next 3-5 days for something I didn’t receive, which is extremely frustrating. We will not be ordering from here again.

This place needs to pay its workers more or just close. The last FOUR times I put in an order they called and canceled it because they had no driver. This last time, the caller hung up on me when I asked if they never had drivers anymore. That was the last straw. I get staffing shortages, but rudely hanging up when I very calmly ask if they aren’t doing delivery anymore? I’m not coming back, even if they find a driver.

Don’t use the mobile order. They serve customers in store first then do mobile orders even when you tell them you are here to pick up. Waited in the store and watched this happen. Freaky slow!!!

I got a country club combo meal and all in all it was a satisfying lunch but I thought the only drawback was the bread, it was a little chewy and for me to much bread to filling ratio. And personally I don’t care too much for kettle chips but I did eat them as well. The meat and veggies were fresh and and flavorful.
