Just made an order online today. The website glitched several times and had to redo order twice. Picked up order and one sub was not what we ordered and looks thrown together. Called and very unprofessional staff did not know what to do. Put me on hold and came back and told me to call Michael the manager/owner. I called him and asked if we could replace he said no he doesn’t want it back. Michael was very nonchalant unprofessional as well and basically told me there is nothing he can do, it wasn’t his restaurant’s fault even though it is his local website. I asked Michael if we could at least bring it back and he replied “I don’t want it”. If you are ordering anything from this Firehouse whether online on phone and probably inside restaurant, with this owner/manager I don’t believe he will correct, compensate or anything complimentary to fix your order. His attitude and ego screams “profits” and take no loss. Hardly any staff working when order was picked up and the staff that was working was only 3 that lacked education by the way they said there was not an order then found it but didn’t know where it was. This was the first time we have ordered any restaurant food in years because we cook our own. This is a reminder also why this will be our last and keep cook our own food at home. Food prices in grocery stores are high but at least you are definitely knowing what’s in it and not being overcharged for slop thrown together. I do not recommend this Firehouse sub at all at 2471 South Church Street Burlington or any other Firehouse that is owned or operated by this Michael. Will be calling Firehouse Subs headquarters.

Horrible experience here today. Drink machine not functioning. Staff didn’t seem to care much. Screwed up my wife’s food. Brought it to the cashier, explained what was wrong. She just looked at me and said “ok”. Then looked at me like “what do you want me to do about it”. Just all around rude. Then it took forever to make my wife’s order right. 0/10. My families first experience and it was trash. Will not return.

Have been to this firehouse sub many time. Will be the last if I wanted a lettus tomato sandwich. I would have eaten out of my garden. You can tell the meat is less. Close the doors if you are trying to get rich one sandwich at a time.

It wasn’t all that welcoming. The cashier wasn’t so friendly she seemed like she had a long day remember this is just my opinion on this day. And my husband said that he wanted everything on his sandwich except mayo he got no lettuce, tomato or onions.

Always hot and fresh and very delicious. Firehouse subs & Jimmy John’s are my two top choices for the best sub. When you purchase a sub here donate a dollar or two to their firefighter foundation cause it goes to buying life saving equipment for the men and women who risk their lives to save our lives. Been going here quite a while and I’ve never had a bad experience here. Very clean dining room & clean bathrooms. Respectful employee’s and pretty quick food service. Trust me nothing compares to Firehouse Subs except Jimmy John’s. They steam the meat which brings the juicy robust flavors of the meats out. I usually get the Hook & Ladder add bacon and recommend you try it if you haven’t yet. If you haven’t tried this place yet what are you waiting for?

We order our sandwiches on their app and it is so easy to order you just run in and pick it up sometimes you have to wait though. The sandwiches are always cooked to perfection made exactly the way they are customized and they are always friendly to their customers. The sandwiches literally are to die for! We have bought platters for neighbors recovering from surgery and they go above and beyond to make sure that the order is fulfilled completely. Even the staff carried my platter out to my car for me! Talk about great service!
