First time visit…as we pulled up and got out of the car i could smell the spices and cooking of the food before entering the restaurant, I already was knowing this is going to be a great experience; in the past I ve tasted some indian dishes, so I went with a favorite;Vegetable Samosa appetizer and the Cauliflower Manchurian and then we ordered a variety of new dishes. All were wonderful! Lamb curry, chicken Tikka Marsala with the tomato sauce, the garlic naan bread omg! Check out the pictures I definately suggest this restaurant for fine made to order authentic Indian food, we will be back and I will tell others. Thank you for your service and fine cuisine!

I ordered via DoorDash because we wanted to try an Indian restaurant closer than sourcing from the west burbs. Maybe I had a bad batch but the butter chicken was the worst I’ve ever had- too sweet and it looked like tomato soup. The veggie samosa filling had good flavor and spice but were a bit too salty.

Their food is AMAZING! I love that their menu shows what is gluten free and/or vegan. Their food is full of flavor and was told they use organic ingredients too! I’ve loved every dish I’ve tried, especially the spicy ones! Even my daughter loves their food and she’s a picky toddler!

Went to Black Salt for the first time this afternoon and it was great. The man working there was very nice and helped me choose from the menu. The tasty chicken dish was served sizzling hot and perfectly prepared. Also had an Indian milk tea with ginger which was uniquely flavorful and enjoyable.

I went here yesterday for my bday with my family and we all enjoyed ourselves. The food was amazing. Even my husband and kids were extremely pleased with their meal. We ordered butter chicken, Lamb Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Spinach Paneer, and my kids got some mango lassi’s which I tasted and they were delicious. I got my lamb very spicy and it definitely did not disappoint lol. I tasted the butter chicken, which was a bit sweet to my liking, but the fam enjoyed it. But my most fave was the fresh garlic Naan and the spinach paneer! Def my new go to spot. I will CERTAINLY be back cause I have a lot more I want to try. The ONLY downside is the fact they charge extra for rice which doesn’t really make sense cause what else would we be eating our dish with? Thats the main reason intook away a star because you habe to pay $8 for rice which makes your meal much more expensive. So that’s a little annoying, but not enough to keep me away that’s why they get away with it I guess cause the food is so good lol. But to have a gem like this in the far South Suburbs of chicago is a blessing!

Our experience would have been a great one had it not been for the appearance of roaches. It tainted the whole experience. The food was really good. We enjoyed the atmosphere. But the bugs were way too confortable roaming around the restaurant.
