It was a wonderful restaurant. It had half the room set up for teppanyaki group style dinners and they also had individual tables for those who wanted a more intimate meal. We chose a table and the food was delicious!! Highly recommended.

Mr. Taka the restaurant manager was refusing to let us dine in for lunch, because they were closing in 20 minutes.He said we had to have reservations and that we should come back at 4pm I told him we drove from far away but he didn’t seem to care. The restaurant was pretty much empty. When caucasian couple came in he said he would seat them in less than 30min. He was making so many excuses with me and had horrible English accent, that I couldn’t understand. Thats when I whent up to him and ask why they were able to get seated if they didn’t have reservations. Mr. Taka realized and seated me. I couldn’t belive it! We were being descriminated maybe because I was wearing flip flops and didn’t fit to his restaurant image. I have been coming to this restaurant for almost 30 years and have celebrated many birthday days. I felt so humiliated by this man that I will not go back.

It was our first time going so we had no idea how everything worked, we were sat down at the big tables were apparently only certain food items were cooked in front of you, so we ordered a couple entries and we were told by the chef that the food we ordered was not for the table we were sat at not knowing how everything works we were quickly rushed away from the table with no apologies even though we told or waiter that it was our first time. It was not a good experience and we were not pleased with the results. The only good news that we have is that the second waiter we got was much more professional and polite. I hate to be this rude to a restaurant review but it’s the truth we will not come back.

Went there earlier and the server was bad!! Me and my friend had dinner somewhere and decided to grab something small in Tokyo Wako. So we just ordered California roll only. The server didn’t checked up on us at all. He was gone, but when he came back, he saw us had one dishes. He was not happy and asked us what we want. We told him we do not want anything. And his response was very rude! Wao! Is there a rule in the restaurant says we can’t just order only ONE item? Just feel treated badly. So weird. Will never visit again. They didn’t even have dipping sauce in bottle? Gave is the package of soy sauce… So funny right.. ☹️ ruined the whole experience in this place.

My food was absolutely amazing. Beef sashimi and spicy tuna tartare, we’ll definitely be back again, customer service could use a little friendliness but fair pricing and good atmosphere.
