Way too much oil on the pizza. It takes away from the experience and the good taste. I feel like I’ll have a heart attack after eating.

There was a time when Mulberry Street was the best Italian food in Babylon—that time is no more. My fiancé and I went out for dinner this evening and ordered pasta. I chose Alfredo and my fiancé chose garlic and oil. Sadly, my Alfredo was horrendous akin to salty, Alfredo soup. Our waitress was not inviting and we frankly did not feel comfortable raising the issue in person. But after paying $60 for pasta and my mouth puckering with salt for hours after eating, I felt I should call and let Mulberry Street know. After repeatedly asking for the owner, I finally spoke with him (Chris) and let him know the issue. He let me know that there’s no salt the Alfredo, so he didn’t see how it could have been salty. When I let him know the service was poor, he let me know the waitress had been there for many years and they he would give her the benefit of the doubt. So basically I can go kick rocks. No ownership. He offered a gift card (when he should have outright refunded me) but I made it clear that we didn’t want to return. It’s a shame this place has gone downhill. The service is poor, the vibe is snarky, the food is a shell of what it was, and when I said as much, it was made clear that it didn’t matter, or they didn’t believe me. Not a great way to treat a customer of over twenty years. Sad to say that I won’t be back.

Nice and local is the only way these days, love to support the small guy! This place is one of the few places that still serves a meal at a great price! One less star for the help trying their best but just not enough attention given due to being short staffed… obviously a problem these days but still worth noting. Surely still a place everyone should visit too, a place they will be very happy when the check arrives!

First off, I never leave bad reviews, but the inedible food+terrible customer service just put me over the edge here. Just had my last “meal” here, if you could even call it that. So disappointed… Tortellini soup – lukewarm water with 5 tortellini and a handful of raw spinach. Large garden salad with grilled chicken- 3 wilted tomatoes and 3 cucumber slices with a couple canned olives and clearly unwashed sliced carrot over warm, wet romaine. Grilled chicken was inedible- clearly microwaved previously made chicken and I could barely chew it. Also gave enough dressing for maybe half a side salad, when I clearly ordered extra in the first place and repeated myself 3 times to get the extra dressing because they ALWAYS forget something in our orders. Pizza- white slice and regular slice, basic and nothing special. We used to love this place, it’s so sad to see such a quick decline and how management just really doesn’t care about the quality of food or the customer service they put out. I cannot say this enough- DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF ORDERING/DINING HERE. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt too many times because we like to support local businesses and this one USED TO BE great. I’m all out of giving this place a chance. Overpriced, bad quality, tasteless food, horrible customer service. Call Buseto of Bay Shore, you won’t be disappointed. We are officially done with Mulberry Street after trying to give it so many chances and will never give them our business again.

Place can easily seat parties of 4 or less. The pizza here is sublime. The flavor for the pizza is unmatched and their other dishes are superb as well like their pasta. My only critique is if you order a normal pie the slices might be very wilted but that’s not an issue because of how good it is. Simply ask for crispy crust when ordering a pizza pie or ask for your pizza to be well done.

MULBERRY STREET has the best pizza and Italian food in town, and I am not exaggerating, I kid you not. I believe it is in the sauce. But that’s me. I give it 5 gold stars. I give more but there are only 5 to give.

Stopped in for dinner and had a nice meal. I had lasagna with some red wine. Great combo and both tasted excellent. The staff were very friendly and the bill was reasonable. Little noisy so good family or group place.

A bit disappointing in Mulberry pizza ! Best pizza in town and they close their doors sooner than posted! Online their hours are not updated and they closed at least 15 min early today! Do better with your service! Love this place but disappointing that they close so early! I called at 7:45 on 5/22 unknowingly that the hours have changed !

I work with an individual with Autism and we come here for take out once a week. The staff is incredibly patient, friendly, and kind to us. Their service is just as good as the food and they know how to treat and respect people of all abilities. The owner has even given us a free slice/drink every now and then, just out of the kindness of his heart. In a world where poor service seems to be the norm, I highly recommend this place as their service is unmatched.
