Was in KC for a business trip, and I’m always asking for food recommendations and not the kind of food I can get back home (AZ has every chain) I look for real local spots with the honey feel. Today’s recommendation hit the nail right on the head. My coworker suggested this as he and his family love this place and because Tito makes everyone feel welcome and remembers and knows everyone! This place is very nicely decorated and set up. The staff is fabulous, and the food…. Ohhhh the food. Hands down some of the best food I’ve eaten in my entire life. From the cheese dip and the salsa, to the Costa Rican vegetable bowl, to the Chile relleno THE best most flavorful food. Come hungry because the portions are not small and you will not be able to stop eating it. We had the pleasure of meeting Tito and saw first hand his passion for the people in his establishment and for the food they cook and serve. Will be adding this to my regular line up for work trips.

What a great place! The atmosphere was really cute, and I loved how it got more moody as the night went on – switching on the neon, some Reggaeton in the side room with a dance floor, and dim lights. The option to dance was there (free salsa lessons!) but nobody was pushy about it. The drinks were tasty and affordable, and I love that huitlacoche was on the menu! I’ve never actually seen it available in the states. And they had soft, corn tortillas as an option instead of just soft wheat, so it was gluten – free friendly! All in all, a fun place to spend with friends before we headed out to a bar!

Yes…. just go! The fajitas are phenomenal the Leche cake is to die for. The steak tacos are exquisite. It was an amazing experience. My fiancée is a street taco nerd, he is a sucker for authentic Mexican food and he was impressed so yeah. Great job Chef Titos!
