Really love true food kitchen! This is my third visit (I’ve been to a different one each time) and had overall the best experience thus far. The service was amazing, everyone was super nice. The food was quick to come out but still hot and delicious! The menu was marked with that was gluten free, vegetarian, had nuts and vegan. I got their new special vegan pizza on gluten free crust and my mom got the grilled chicken panini minus the sauce and we both really enjoyed our meals. The aesthetic was nice, clean and crisp. There was parking right near the restaurant too.

This place is going to be a great addition to the restaurant scene in Edison’s Route 1 area. It joins the other fast casual chains, but don’t like the others who defrost, microwave and deep fry their food, at True kitchen everything is made fresh and in the traditional fashion. Very clean and bothered atmosphere. The wait staff is super friendly.

Really great space—the windows are huge and the green accents throughout the area are nice aesthetic-wise. You can also sort of see the kitchen. Conceptually, I love this restaurant, as it aligns with both my environmental and lifestyle values. Buying foods when they are in season is a sustainable practice and it’s great that they change their menus seasonly. The prices are pretty expensive but I guess you are also paying for the quality

Showed up as a ‘healthy’, ‘vegetarian’ recommendation when I was looking to try something different, and I’m glad I went there. The interiors are visually appealing, and the restaurant has an open, airy feel. Refreshers- the Sparkling Prickly Pear Tisane was great, and the Hangover Rx seemed too sweet to me. The Roasted Brussels sprouts were soft and tasty. Edamame Dumpling was ravioli with edamame on the side, in a delicious broth. Loved the variety in the Ancient Grain bowl, the Chopped Salad was well done, and the Pesto Pasta was perfect! Amazing portions, great service. I thought the cane chairs felt cold during the winter, I’d go for a table with a sofa in the corner, next time. Plenty of parking – during a weekday.

I love the concept and the vibe but the food didn’t hit for me. I ordered the lasagna bolognese and the flavor wasn’t there. I did enjoy the tuna tostada and I highly recommend ordering if you dine here. The drink menu was extensive and didn’t disappoint. Overall the food was average, the drinks and service were good. I’d rather go somewhere else if I wanted a healthier/farm to table meal.

The food here is fresh. It’s not just your regular same old dishes. The menu is clearly marked for dietary restrictions. They have half off bottles of wine in the weekends. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I had such a nice experience, I went back the same week.
