We had a great family date night here a couple days ago. The kids meal is an amazing price of $7 and includes entree, drink, side and dessert (snack). The food was savory and delicious. The prices were on the medium to high side but based on farm to table quality vs other places I would say it is worth it. Our server Haas was a great person and helped answer any and all questions.

This place is a hidden gem! We have eaten here twice over the past week. The first time I had the prime rib. It was excellent! My husband had the salmon both times and loved it. The second time we came we brought our daughter and we wanted the Prime rib, but unfortunately they were out so we both ordered the filet with mushroom risotto and it was wonderful as well. I also really enjoyed the bread. Highly recommend. I was so busy enjoying the food I didn’t get any pictures.

Super friendly and welcoming staff upon arrival. Great selection on the buffet! The expected breakfast offerings (bacon, biscuits and gravy, omelet station, etc) were tasty. There was also a prime rib carving station, which my husband enjoyed twice. I really liked the items more geared toward lunch (lasagna, spinach dip with pita, shrimp, a a fantastic selection of salads). Also nice they had everything labeled clearly; take all the guessing out of the game!

Service was good. The food fell short of expectations. Paid $5 for what I was hoping to be good quality yogurt and granola and fruit. Instead I got a 50 cent yoplait but they surprisingly had a higher tier tea selection which was a pleasant surprise. We decided to go elsewhere for breakfast the following day.

I walked in and a lady had a attitude with me. There was no I’m sorry for the wait. I should of recorded her. I also should have recorded how long I was waiting. I’m so upset I didn’t. She Almost put me in a seizure. Overall it did not make me want to eat there at all. Would not recommend. Hotel staff was very nice and helped me with that employee. I did not want to eat there as I’m afraid she will spit in my food. Hotel is amazing and love the stay but don’t like the lady at the restaurant.

Anthony was an attentive and friendly server. He recommended the pork chop and it did not disappoint! The chop was perfectly seasoned and prepared. I barely got to it because I was inhaling the unique wedge Caesar Salad and the veggies on my plate! Please don’t write this restaurant as a typical hotel restaurant. Because it is not. Great service, wonderful chef and fantastic food.

Had a great experience. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and onion rings. The sandwich was amazing. It was huge with a tangy barbecue sauce and excellent bun. The onion rings had a specially dipped batter and were cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional also. We will definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere, friendly and responsive service, ok food. Wives ordered Jack Frost (blue coconut drink) and Drunken Mermaid drinks. Both were tasty and well mixed. I ordered a Knob Creek Bourbon straight up. What was brought was clearly not Knob Creek (or any Bourbon). The waiter realized his mistake and brought the right drink before I could even say anything. The original was a 12 year Scotch (also very tasty). He obviously didn’t change me for the Scotch and comped my second Knob Creek (I wasn’t driving – grin). My wife ordered the Walleye – best meal at our table; it was awesome. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye medium rare. The first steak brought was well done (ZERO PINK – sorry no photo). I asked for a second and the one photographed is what was brought – more of a medium. Both were seasoned nicely, but definitely not a 12 oz steak. The potatoes and other vegis on all plates were good. One of our other guests ordered the pork chop – it was ok. Looked very rare in the center. Another ordered a chicken dish. Again – ok. In short the proteins were all-right, but not something we’d go back for and Morgans is a short 10 minute drive from our homes. By contrast we’d all do the 55 minute drive to the west Metro to get the Ike’s Smoked Prime Rib again… Don’t know if they had someone new cooking the proteins but they were just okay. Service, however, did a great job of taking care of us…
