Was unsure about staying, host said it was a 15-20 minute wait, and there were plenty of open tables??? Weird? Put our names down and then went to the bar. Bartender took our order. Then proceeded to get our beers out of the cooler opened them and left them on the cooler where she took them out?? Finally after waiting another 5 minutes, she brought them to us. After waiting another 10 minutes they called us for our table. Husband had the fish special and I got a patty melt. He had a soup choice and got the bison chili. VERY GOOD!! GREAT FOOD! I was very unsure at first but was very good. Wait staff very attentive!! Good food!!! Okay atmosphere. We drink bud light, but they did have a great choice of beers and drinks! We will definitely go again.

Went with a group for a birthday party. Stuffed us all in a 90 degree party room, gave us a “limited” 5 item menu, which was all adult food we had to order for children as well. Waitress was very get in and out as fast as possible. The rest of the food staff kept looking over from the back as if hoping we’d leave soon, when our party was 90% of their clientele for the evening, and it wasn’t a giant party. On top of that was an 18% gratuity. The overpriced food wasn’t bad, but it certainly wasn’t praiseworthy. You get about the same quality meal from Burger King for half the price. Won’t be recommending or returning.

I have NEVERbeen treated so rude in a restaurant in my entire life. We called ahead to this place to let them know we were bringing a large group of people in for the night. When we got there the manager yelled at Us to stay behind the seating sign and would not let us go to the bar to wait for our table even though there were two bartenders and only a few people at the bar. The dining room was not even busy. We said we had no problem waiting to be served but he kept saying that we couldn’t even wait for a drink! There were 12 open bar stools!! He told a lady in our group she could not use the bathroom! We were so offended by his behavior that over 30 of us left. We went to another restaurant where we were immediately seated and served. They lost out on thousands of dollars and if I owned that restaurant that manager would be fired.

Awesome burgers!!! best part was they had 17 beers on tap and only 2 were domestics… I think there was 30 chef burgers to choose from with meats like elk and bison… will be making a trip back real soon… my server was really nice as well… her suggestion of the mad totter was just what I was looking for in a burger

Nightmare that didn’t end. I took my family there (9 of us total) to celebrate a birthday that was on Valentine’s day. I made reservations a day in advance and had no problem with that but even so it was very vacant for a holiday. Upon being seated and waiting a very long time for our waitress we come to find out that they have to physically look at every ID, even if you are old enough to have grand-kids of which we did. So I had to leave and drive back home to get an ID that was left but while I was gone the rest of my family was ready to order and received NO service at all. Once I returned (12 minutes later) the waitress finally came over to take our orders. Everyone ordered burgers with two getting chicken baskets. Another 30 min waiting and only a few plates came out, 5 minutes after that a few more, 5 minutes after that the final few came out. One burger was ordered well done, it came bright red and was sent back, only to return again bright red. I guess the cooks don’t know how to cook a standard burger at this “burger bar” The food was very poor for how long we waited and for how much they charge. The manager who was checking all the tables around us avoided our table every time he walked by. Our waitress was very slow in helping our table in every way, although was pleasant, not up for the task of managing more than two tables at a time. I was originally not going to write a review until….. they called me a WEEK AFTER my reservations to “confirm my reservations”… THEY COULDN’T EVEN TAKE THE RESERVATION CORRECTLY! I would give “0” stars but that is not an option here. Food was poor, service was poor, management was poor, staffing was poor. Not one thing was pleasant about our visit and we will NOT be returning. I recommend trying any other restaurant in the area!

Very bad experience! Had a small group of people and it took forever to get the burgers. They were okay, nothing special, and the fries were cold. The waitress gave very bad service…didn’t check drinks, shorted us change…one of us by $15. We went to get the right change and we were swore at. I would never go there again.

Overpriced $16 dollar burgers, $14 mac and cheese, $6.50 warm draft beers and weak cocktails. Forgot our appetizer and where generally very slow. Only about 20% full so that should never have been an issue. $16 burgers should knock your socks off, they where nothing special.

We were visiting our son in St Cloud and looking for a place to eat dinner. Came accross the American Burger Restaurant and Bar. It seemed a nice place. Prices were a little high but you could order something reasonable. Waitress did a pretty good job serving but lack personality.
